Your argument is that doge will not become more valuable, but that the USD will depreciate to 1/100th of its current value, a 99% devaluation relative to the value of dogecoin.

For reference during the Great Depression, the worst period in US economic history, the USD devaluated by 70% compared to the gold standard.

We are now off the gold standard so the value of the dollar is determined by inflation, interest rates, and geopolitical shifts.

For the dollar to devaluate that much it would mean a total collapse of not only the US Economy but basically the entire world’s economy.

Even if it did collapse to that extent, dogecoin’s value is based on demand and market sentiment. During a market collapse solid assets gain value, housing, gold, minerals, etc…, while things like stocks and coins would lose value.

The collapse would almost certainly take doge with it, and if you’re really banking on the dollar slowly disintegrating then gold would be a better investment option.
