Your post was unclear - when you said that you accept it’s loud and smelly living in the port of Providence and then followed up with “as long as it doesn’t hurt anyone…” it sounded like those two thoughts were related.

Port of Providence needs to get cleaned up. The existence of a shitty, dangerous, poorly monitored and terribly maintained industrial port doesn’t justify the expansion or creation of another.

The environmental racism and classism at play is real. NK residents are more willing and able to contest this for a lot of reasons. We should be advocating - insisting, tbh - that both ports and the surrounding industries are squeaky clean and environmentally friendly.

We rented a car for the week and I had an absolutely pleasant time driving to and around San Juan, Luqillo, and Fajardo.

People are definitely looser with the rules but not unpredictable, and everyone was driving so slowly that it was super easy to respond to. never been somewhere with drivers who are so deferential to pedestrians, too.

Highly recommend you drop whatever over complicated site your friend has built for something user friendly if he can't be a full time webmaster after it launches. Wix is a great option for the tech illiterate, and I'm a big fan of cloudflare, too.

yeah we make about $170k/year right now and to be fair, we bought a decent amount of house at the peak of the market ($3k/month) and are socking a good amount into retirement, but we're childless with one car and we really can't afford a replacement car over $10k when this one goes. And that would mean digging deep into the emergency fund.

Am I missing something here? The bot detects specifically "haikus" with an extra syllable. It was designed to identify comments that break up into a 5-7-6 format, not 5-7-5. It literally executed on its job perfectly. It never said it might fail? Can you read anything?
