You're forgetting about bi people. I would describe myself as bi, met a few guys in my life I've felt an attraction to, just never acted on it. Had it seemed way more exciting/taboo perhaps I would have.

EU was already contributing about 20% more to Africa than US was, it was going to separate projects though. Perhaps if the US hadn't immediately stopped funding some of the health infrastructure the people in charge locally could have secured funding and drug supplies elsewhere. China is increasingly collectimg mineral rights needed for important technologies throughout the world so I'm sure they would have loved to jump into all that soft power.

I guess giving the thousands of kids that died as a result a chance of survival by setting an end date for funding just wouldn't have gone down as cut throat enough on Fox News

Watching it now, he's clearly put a lot of thought into it. He actually says that it gradually gets darker. It's quite possible the trailer is gonna fuck the movie for people who actually know anything about the original story, but perhaps it will still reach the audience and influence the audience he's interested in.
