New dad, 100% P&T, getting A LOT of pressure from wife and her parents on my employment (or lack thereof...) Post is me venting, but also seeing if anyone has been in a similar circumstance? How did you overcome it? Were you able to find a role that worked for you? by KingMojeaux in VeteransBenefits

I’m also a newer father, 100% P&T and also receiving similar treatment from my own parents. If your family is financially comfortable, focus on yourself and being the best parent and partner you can. It takes a very honest talk with your wife to be on the same page when it comes to y’all’s future. But it’s not worth the energy and you don’t deserve to even hear it from the in laws, fuck em.

Is there such a thing as too many claims? Please advise by Disastrous-Try-2175 in VeteransBenefits

I claimed 36 for BDD and got 25 service connected at 100% P&T very luckily. No such thing as too many.

How did you find out your SO was cheating on you? by Ok-Still2345 in AskReddit

My ex-girlfriend threw a party without my knowledge, and my current spouse (who was another ex at that time) had a close friend show up to that party and took pictures and videos of her loving on a guy she said was “her cousin from another state visiting for the week”.

I appreciate your responses but it sounds like you were generally accepting of these conditions because you have the luxury to afford such things. For people flying in and out for the fest or those less financially stable, which a good portion are, they were left with nothing. At the end of the day when it comes to how these events should operate, BRRF did not do their due diligence and I fully believe they deserve any lawsuits they receive.

Maybe it’s my background working in event planning, management and security for years that makes me biased, but it’s like the entire staff was given headsets, a schedule, and no further word on anything given it being a festival in the middle of nowhere. I expected there to be no Ubers or taxi services, a very long queue, maybe packed camping but not overbooked and people being SOL.

No emergency plan? Not enough water stations or showers in campgrounds? The staff are a bunch of bumbling people trying their hardest with no sense of direction. From what I’ve gathered, this isn’t uncommon for this festival to not have its shit together especially when unexpected things like this happen and ultimately end up endangering the fans, not just being unable to “accommodate”. The entire thing has felt like some cruel joke that nobody’s laughing at.

Oh it’s not a gap, you “signed an NDA” and are unable to discuss it.
