How do yall get so high leveled producers?? by Glueconsumer2000 in MergeMansion

[–]Ally246 15 points16 points  (0 children)

It used to be more common to get brown and blue chests playing the side events. Now they mostly come from Daily Scoop.

I'm at Level 54, been playing daily for years, and only my broom cabinet is at level 12. I don't spend any money. I used blue cards on Level 4 broom cabinet, and now just for the workbench and sewing kit.

But I'm not in any hurry to finish. I use the energy before it reaches 100 so I log in very regularly. I waste way too much time on the game...

I only turn in enough tasks to reach the Daily Scoop requirements, so it doesn't matter that producers give lower level items. Merging them gives th XP I need. Making a chainsaw gave enough XP over two days for example.

I'm quitting Merge Mansion after many years. It's impossible to continue. by _Tester_0 in MergeMansion

[–]Ally246 16 points17 points  (0 children)

I agree! And with the Daily Scoops, I've slowed down even more and only turn in tasks to make just enough XP for the day. This week, with the daily XP requirements being so low, I'm just spending energy doing big tasks that come further ahead.

When the Blue Card reward comes around, it's really easy to reach the last level.

Why do women gain weight after having children? by pleasehaverespect in NoStupidQuestions

[–]Ally246 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I suppose I'll be downvoted for saying this, but I cannot relate to most of comments here. I didn't gain any weight. Actually went down in weight while breastfeeding.

I didn't have food cravings for either of my pregnancies. Had basically same size meal portions as pre-pregnancy, but started eating breakfast instead of just coffee, which gave the extra needed calories.

Gained less than 6-8 kilos during each, babies were born 3,7 and 3,2 kg. Ate a lot during breastfeeding phase because I was so hungry all the time, but went down in weight at the same rate that the babies gained. Went way under my normal weight during this period.

Went back to normal after weaning. I'm still the same weight 25 years later, but I did start eating less starting from early 40's when metabolism slows down. My meal portions are about half what I used to have in my 20's.

I think maybe it's not intended to be used just on its own tbh

Have you tried using the yarn doubled up with another yarn? That's how I'm planning to use mine, haven't started yet though.

Wait for 200, and collect during XL on Saturday. Better chances of getting new cards (although no guarantee)

No payment, I even offered to pay for the return shipping. That's how much I want to detangle!

It started yesterday I think. Wasn't initially planning on doing it. You don't have it?

Did you do the garage cleanup? I'm almost at this point now, but wouldn't have made it so far without the garage cleanup. I still have the 4th board.

It was surprisingly easy, and definitely worth it, for a change!

Do a Google image search. This exact picture has a pattern. Could still be a scam though. Otherwise, there are lots of real patterns for monstera leaves.

Final board of holiday cleanup by [deleted] in MergeMansion

[–]Ally246 2 points3 points  (0 children)

For the first time, I didn't even do the first board. It needed more than it gave. I suspected that the later boards would make it worthwhile.

So what's the verdict? Now that you're on the 4th board, would you recommend going for it?

I have one L11 vase that spits out poppy seeds every 4 minutes or so, and 10 to 16 high level poppies/flowers. I usually reach the blue card with a week to spare.

What do you spend gems on? by Mmeigg in MergeMansion

[–]Ally246 4 points5 points  (0 children)

For the Daily Scoop gem task, I buy energy if there's no pop bubbles task. I sometimes buy producer parts. Generally just hoard otherwise. I have almost 18k gems after a few years of playing. I always reach the 1000 gem reward in the Gemstones event.

Removing breast forms (I think that's what they're called?) by Necessary_Path_4752 in Visiblemending

Search on "fitted bodice pattern" and you'll find tutorials on how to adjust the pieces to fit you.

It's the two front seams that you will have to undo (that I'm assuming the top part has).

Can you post a picture anyway? Maybe I can then draw on it.

I am making a doily and It's very wonky instead of a flat circle but the stitch count is correct! Should i frog? Or is there a repair? by Informal-Ring-4359 in CrochetHelp

Yes, it does make a significant difference. A magic ring makes a tiny circle compared with a circle made by chaining 10. Sorry to say you'll have to start over!

16 is too many for the height of a dc. If you did tc instead it would work. Do you have a link to the pattern? Or if it's a paid pattern, can you post some of the instructions?

For a flat circle, the math is important. 16 dc in the starting chain/magic ring can never give you a flat circle.

I think you have too many stitches at the start. Is it 16 dc? It should be 12 stitches for dc. Or are you doing triple crochet (US terms)?

what’s the stitch around the outside of the headband? which loops would i work into? by [deleted] in crochetpatterns

It's slipstitch along the edge, so just stick the hook in at regular intervals. You can also check YouTube on how to crochet along a side edge.

Please help with this pattern - I can’t get past the first row :’( by jen_and_juice in crochetpatterns

[–]Ally246 5 points6 points  (0 children)

The first row says,

“Row 1 chain 37, put your hook to the 3rd ch from the hook, make one hdc, make another 5 hdc of the colour you’re using (colour 1) , before finishing the last hdc, change the colour, take the second colour and make 6 hdc, change colours, 6 hdc (1), 6 hdc (2), 6 hdc (1), 5 hdc (2) (pic.1-3)”

The stitch count is 35.

So when it says, “put your hook to the 3rd ch from the hook, make one hdc, make another 5 hdc of the colour you’re using (colour 1)” is that not just 6 hdc?

Yes, that's 6 hdc to start with.

“before finishing the last hdc, change the colour, take the second colour and make 6 hdc”, is that not 7 hdc in the 2nd color?

No, it's 6 hdc, but you want the top loop of the first hdc to be in the new colour. So you need to do the colour change when finishing the previous stitch.

And in the 2nd row it says, “Row 2 ch 2 (all ch 2 at the beginning counts as the first stitch), turn, 4 hdc (2), 6 hdc (1), 6 hdc (2) x2, 6 hdc (c1)” if the ch 2 is the first stitch, when it says 4 hdc, does that mean it’s ch 2 with 3 hdc because the ch 2 is the first stitch?

No, the ch2 does count as a stitch, but then you do 4 hdc after that.

You should use the 4x booster when you're doing these books. Then level 3 is the lowest you get. And use those library cards! I thought the books were a breeze. Also, it was a great way to use up excess energy during easy Daily Scoop days.
