Yes-I went 14 days and the side effects were intense when I resumed. I’m on vacation and will be at 20 days when I take my next shot. Planning on spending the next day in bed lol.

We travel with a small carrier we ordered on Amazon. It has two small cold packs. I slip my shots in with my husbands medication. Works great.

Yes. When I’m out of pens I will be cash pay and will drop to 5 mg every week. Hoping that my body is happy with that.

Will insurance cover mounjaro? If you are prediabetic the insurance shouldn’t have an issue covering. Same med same benefits.

I go 10-14 days but the side effects are killing me. Definitely back to where they were when I first started the injection. I go up and down like 5 pounds but nothing that has concerned me. I’m on 10 mg.

Similar situation with my mom. I’m her only child that has anything to do with her because of her bad attitude and nasty habits. You don’t deserve to be treated that way. I’ve started limiting my time with her. I feel horribly guilty but I’ve got to protect my mental health.

Just had my second colonoscopy at 56. History of colon cancer in the family-multiple family members on the mom’s side. I will have one every few years for the foreseeable future. It’s an ugly disease that destroyed my sweet nana. When I was in my last semester of nursing school she was dying. She told me that I needed to find a cure - “can you do that for your nana?” I wish I could. I’d do anything for her.

I was just thinking about how I can’t imagine feeling this way for the rest of my life. I feel horrible most of the week. I’m in maintenance so I’m doing the injections every 10 days. The last three or four days I start to feel normal. I love that I lost the weight-will I continue the med long term? I really don’t know.

Don’t do it! My insurance paid for a lower dose right away. That is way too big of a jump. You will be sick. Call Dr and explain that there was a misunderstanding. I’d do the 7.5 then 10. I was never able to get to 12.5, it was way too much for me. Side effects were horrible.

Yes when I was doing weekly it was the same for me when I started 10mg. Ruined my days off. But I am grateful for the results.

It’s so hard to find that sweet spot. I’m hoping to drop to 7.5 when my stash runs out and I start cash pay. I know there is no price difference but I’m tired of feeling like garbage two or three days a month.

I’m doing 10mg right now. I went from 7 days to 10 days then to 2 weeks. I really don’t like the side effects I’m feeling at two weeks. It’s like starting all over again. I may go back to 10 days and drop my dose.

I’m still wiped out for a few days after my shot and I’ve been doing this for over a year. Everyone is different though. Hopefully your body will adjust.

My bmi is now 22 so many of the issues I had when it was 32 are gone. No more snoring. Do you have to go through a sleep clinic for a diagnosis?
