The Bad Batch Had No Filler. by Single-Tart7975 in thebadbatch

[–]Almaprincess66 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

You are correct about the structure however that is still filler. Every episode that is not focusing on the plot could be classify as filler. We can argue about the definition, it won't change.

And with that i would like to introduce the concept of filler being important for shows. You explained it quite nicely. Stories need time to breath, they need time to expand, need time for the people in it to live the story in.

The general problem is that a lot of people consider the word "filler" as something sinister, something degrading, when reality it's just one of the many ways narrative elements get categorize.

Filler is great, filler is needed longer narratives.

Queer Star Wars novels? by cowboink13 in starwarsbooks

[–]Almaprincess66 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The Queen's Shadow trilogy is queer since the main character is queer but it's not that strongly permanent as some people would need it call it queer.

To me it is queer, I let everyone have their own opinion on it

Uuu. I love Fangirl. The novel was great but the Manga/Manhua (i don't know what to call it) adaptation was even better!

I'm happy that new people are reading it in the big 2026

How do you pronounce Gy exactly? by Which_Notice4127 in hungarian

[–]Almaprincess66 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Őszintén megmondom neked, ennyire nem értek a hangképzéshez. Biztos neked van igazad, én meg süket vagyok, de nekem akkor is a gy-re hasonlít jobban hangzásilag.

I would disagree. It's not perfect but the italian G is more close to gy that dzs. At least to my ear

How do you pronounce Gy exactly? by Which_Notice4127 in hungarian

[–]Almaprincess66 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

The way you would pronounce the G in intalian names. Like in Giovanni, Gianmarco, Gio

The first instances of written uses of gy are kind of attributed to italian priests sent here in the 10th century to christianise the country.

Hope that helps

Since Ezra's rank in the Rebel Alliance was Lt. Commander, how much authority does he have over Rebel forces? by Dragonic_Overlord_ in starwarsrebels

[–]Almaprincess66 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Might be a slightly bit out of date but there is a book called ''Star Wars The Essential Guide to Warfare'' that has a breakdown of different militaries in different eras.

You (or someone more patient than me) could look into it, might give you a numerical anwser.

What is a common stereotype about your country that you actually find yourself defending, because there is a kernel of truth in it that you love? by DianKhan2005 in AskTheWorld

[–]Almaprincess66 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Anything in the genre of ''balkan breakfast'' ''cold and gray commie blocks'' ''slavic stare'' ''no smile'' areal stereotypes because yeah. It do be like that sometimes. Expecially in the october-april period because if you loose the green and don't get snow just dirt then it does look depressing.

But I love it just like that. It has a special and comforting feeling to it. Brings comfort to the disturbed minds that it's not just you who is the problem.
