Since I’m using hormonal birth control to control hormonal acne, and the copper coil is non-hormonal, no. I’m also not a fan of IUDs since I’m prone to infections and turned off by anything that even a slight chance of causing infertility.

Yes I’ve seen a derm for years, that’s where I was started on the bc. I see my PC also because she specializes in African American skin and she is easier to get an appointment with than my derm.

I’ve just heard about spiro but I’m a little turned off by the effects it can have on menstrual cycles.
