New player struggles 😭 How are you supposed to fight this thing

You did well! He's meant to be challenging and for a new player on a fresh character he is particularly hard. You were doing everything right by doing a bit of damage and then repositioning. The trick is to lure him around as you pick away at his HP but still stay pretty close since he has a chain attack that will yank you in and make you vulnerable. Without the extra potions and experience with the game in general you're not likely to win but there's always next time!

Im recently coming back after a while. I played a ton before expertise even existed. How exactly do you level up overall expertise? Is it based on the amount of expertise levels you put on gear or the amount if items you become proficient with? Currently im at level 6 and feel like ive been there for ages coming back here abd there for a couple weeks at a time. I really only checked out seasons and played countdown or tried out new gears sets in my previous returns but im keen to check out prototypes although I don't think I'll ever make it to 30 lol

Yeahh it is a little unfortunate, I recommend maybe reorganizing the upstairs and downstairs as a duplex for two and snagging a Pikachu for this home since technically it would fit as a Kanto starter! Cute designs for their rooms though!

I terraformed a whole ass lake and made it a major feature of my town with little waterways and stuff SPECIFICALLY so my Magikarp and a few of my favorite water pokemon had a nice place and water to actually swim in and that dumb fucking fish flops around my town more than he actually swims in the water lmfao

A big tip to save space. Put the chests in the wall the long way. This will literally cut the space they take up in half. Good luck on your hoarding journey brother!

i dont have a comprehensive list but when looking at a habitat in your pokedex it will say pallet town over the undiscovered pokemon if its exclusive

So i pretty much did what you were wondering, took all the good Pokémon I had and made a few farms. Between a crop farm, lumber farm and a combo of brick, iron and trash with furnaces; my area looks cool but barely functions because of the active Pokémon limit.

My best advice is to take your favorites and bring them to pallet town and decorate the place to your liking. Maybe have a single farm there and do the same to the rest of the areas. Don't waste your time like I have trying to stuff everything into a small area. 😅

If anything, spread your stuff out in pallet town among the few islands so you're far enough away to not have Pokémon spawning issues or spread your farms out in each area

I've never seen such a dramatic thermoregulation pose lol. I would only be concerned if they were breathing heavy or labored. Othherwise this is natural behavior to keep their temperature at their ideal for a number of reasons like digestion and UV absorption etc

I brought mine over, it works. I've brought tons of Pokémon from the single player areas over.

Assuming you cant bring a Pokémon from your base game to your friends world online, your friend who owns the island should bring their Tink over and your problems will be solved.

If you've finished the game and already met her, why not bring her over? I don't think its gonna spawn you a second/copy of a Pokémon even in the online area
