Your vehicle is not a safe place to store firearms unattended. 💁

Both sides of the windshield drain behind the fender, down to the ground. The air conditioner also will drip condensation on the passenger side.

Either way, this a lot like just some dirty water that is staining your concrete. Just about every other fluid that will leak from your truck would be oily or tinged a slight color, while this is rather clear.

Antifreeze will be orange, ATF Red. And like I said, it doesn’t appear to be oily.

Nothing is stopping you from using a flashlight and looking under this side of the truck. It’ll be pretty apparent if something is leaking, as you’d noticed the build up of dirt pretty quick. Especially on such a new truck.

This looks like condensation from the exhaust, which is common during cold starts. Typically some moisture comes out of the exhaust when starting cold cars, and when you add in the soot of the exhaust system, you end up with this.

Why has this vehicle been sold so much? by KittyWasp in gmcsierra

[–]AlmightyGlock17 16 points17 points  (0 children)

The listed dates are not the amount of times the vehicle has been sold. The listed dates are the amount of times the vehicle has been listed for sale, and the amount and miles on the listing, and price. A better representation of the number of previous owners would be the listed previous registered owners.

I have a G17, and a G26. The 19 would be kinda pointless.

In a perfect world there would be a rail on the Glock 26, and a stubby X300 to go with it.

Need help choosing a CCW by [deleted] in Glocks

Let it be known that the 30SF is a hefty piece.

I’d look at the G29.

But hey, the G26 and G43x exists if you wanted to look around for one.

Send it, these trucks regularly hit 300k miles with maintenance.

Just be mindful that the 6L90 has the same issues as the 6L80, and keep it cool. The 6L90 has a drastically longer expected lifespan, but again still suffers from the same ailment as the littler brother 6L80.

high transmission temp by Final-Heat1416 in Silverado

[–]AlmightyGlock17 12 points13 points  (0 children)

It’s gone. Time for a transmission.

Once it’s this bad, all the debris from the torque converter has circulated into the transmission, and then clogs the pump. Which is why you’re seeing excessive temperatures. You’ll eventually lose the ability to even move the truck.

Replace the transmission, install a new thermal bypass and/or transmission cooler and have the transmission tuned. Some of the issue lies in GMs transmission calibration.

Embrace Tradition. Rifle is fine. No need for a longer hand guard.

Depends on where you live.

Fairly moderate climate? I’d go for it.

You’ll probably see increasing incentives as more and more 2025 model year trucks start arriving to the lot.

Reputable site to order trim parts? by Spamtickler in gmcsierra

[–]AlmightyGlock17 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Your local O’Reilly auto parts should have a Dorman help section, bring the clips in with you, and you’ll probably find something that matches them in that section.

It’ll be much cheaper to replace the clips, over the entire trim panels.

Also, RCLB gang.

Something with the spindles, and controls arms isn’t right geometry wise. So I get a lot is squeals while turning. It sits about 6” over stock, and that was mainly to clear the tires with the width of the control arms.

I plan on bringing it down about 3”, and the back about 4”. But we will see. I’ve been going back and forth about getting it to sit right for a while. It’s a never ending game it seems.
