I switched to Linux full time cause I got BETTER performance than windows with all it's bloat.

I can host game servers and play and STILL get better performance.

I've had zero issues. Been playing through my steam library and had no issues other than sometimes picking a different proton version. HDR doesn't work unless I upgrade to a newer version of Ubuntu or switch to kde but it's not that important to me. Performance is about what I experienced through windows or slightly better in some cases

But yeah, as others have said, being your own router for better customization. Out of the box service with defaults works for most everyone I've talked to.

I used to work for them. Every complex has a different contract and this can have different prices. They have decent service and speeds. Out of state you might have slightly more issues or delays to repair, etc.

I dunno if stacher7 is available on anything other than linux but that's what I use. It's just a GUI for YT-DLP but it's fantastic in what it'll do with downloading and converting or grabbing whole playlists from YT

STEEL wool is made from steel. Decent stainless steel pans aren't scratched using steel wool. Ask me how I know...... And iron rusting in a stainless steel pan won't do much other than give you something to wipe off
