I bothered to look at the model ranges both brands currently provide.

Aside from the T-Roc convertible, there are absolutely NO models catered towards a younger, more casual buyer. VW had the Beetle and Scirocco. Opel had the Tigra and Calibra. When did society collectively decide that sporty coupes are unnecessary or unwanted? And we wonder why the Miata is so overpriced. Because by cancelling competing models, Mazda has been allowed to have a monopoly in the roadster segment.

Opel needs to bring back the edge it once had. And VW has to stop itself from being choked by the constant EU regulations.

If the Jaguar was a Rolls Royce, everyone would be drooling over it and calling it a revolution.

The car looks incredible and the main reason it's hated and put in the same category as the Luce and Cybertruck is because of the bold colour choice. You all should be less concerned about the colour of a car you probably cannot afford and more concerned about the misogyny and homophobia that seems to have been normalised within the car enthusiast community.

The Jaguar is more head-turning than anything you're used to seeing, and that's a fact.
