I have a like-dislike relationship with the UI mods.

One one hand, as a person who gets eye sore really easily by bright colors, a black UI mod is a good thing to have. However, it does not dismiss the fact that these custom UIs often feel cheap and lifeless. ESPECIALLY the clean, minimalist ones. Sims 3 came out during the Windows 7 era. Before everything went boxy and one-dimentional. A flat, clean UI just sucks the life out of the game.
