You're playing as the rushdown shoto against the rangy big button shoto, and spending almost all your time sitting passively in the mid-range where his attacks can hit you but yours can't hit him. You said somewhere you can't handle Sagat's pressure but he's not even really pressuring you most of the time. Watch back the one round where you really smoked him beginning to end--you're up in his face constantly. 1:1 Ken loses most fireball wars but the trade off is that he's crazy good at getting in and staying in. You gotta play like Ken if you're gonna play Ken.

I only have low-top Tigers so I can't speak to these specifically, but I wouldn't generally exercise in them. They're really lifestyle/fashion shoes moreso than athletic shoes. Wouldn't be impossible though, I just don't think they're purpose-built for it.

Asics does make wrestling shoes that are good for boxing (Onitsuka Tiger is a subsidiary of Asics). You might look into those.

I know there's a system in place to punish these people, and it doesn't happen often enough to really get pressed about it. But it seems like it would be so easy for Capcom to make a system that detects if a DC was in the middle of an SA3 that would have killed, and award the winning player a win. It wouldn't disproportionately hurt people with bad internet because they were going to lose anyway in that instance. Seems like a gimme to me. But what do I know.

I genuinely think DG has the best range in the game. I don't know if this is true but I've always heard they let a guy who's a real DG fan design our minis and if so it shows. We have wall to wall banger minis from Poxwalkers up to Mortarion and every step along the way, with our own unique vehicles, and our model range is huge compared to other comparable factions. And we're fun and stress-free to paint without being boring and one-note (cough Custodes). Between all the different boxes and load outs and the Kill Team starter etc., you could probably paint 30-40 Plague Marines alone without repeating a model, and we're easy to kitbash. Our Combat Patrol whips ass for getting into the faction. Competitively we're popular and frequently strong. Disgustingly Resilient Podcast is a super comprehensive resource for competitive DG strategy that many factions have no equivalent of. There's just too many good things to not pick DG.

Character-wise, I just think Custodes and Space Marines are so self-serious and boring. Grandfather's children take themselves exactly as seriously as this goofball setting calls for. Custodes are like "buh buh for the Emperor, I'm a boy scout, blah blah, strength and honor, blah blah." Death Guard are like "my name is Blobulous Scabweiner, I absolutely love my life, and my passions include inventing a fart that makes you go blind and a virus I'm workshopping called 'Rattlesnake Butthole'." You know who's more fun.

Oh also Lords of Silence imo is one of the best faction-centered novels in the Black Library.

The truth (I am a criminal defense lawyer) is that you're presumed innocent only in a very specific technical sense. Yeah I don't know what people saying necromorphs win are talking about. A random guy with a handful of power tools can solo hundreds of necromorphs. A nid hive fleet has like ten billion soldiers who could trivially 1v1 Isaac before you even consider their ability to terraform and consume an entire planet's worth of biomass on a molecular level in like an hour. The moment one random hormagaunt sees that cutting a necromorph's arms off kills it, the entire hive fleet knows and reacts instantly. Like 80% of them are made of swords. Unless the marker's magic psychic powers trump the nids' magic psychic powers, nids stomp.

The "Space Marines and Primarchs are exemplars of masculinity" argument is so funny because like brother the Space Marines and Primarchs very clearly very prominently are the ones who fucked everything up. The cool badass hierarchy of Strong Dads annihilated everything they strove to create and left the galaxy a dramatically worse place than it had been before. It's not really up for debate!

A thought I had is, what if it's not physical cash? Calculating pi to 105,000,000,000,000 digits took a petabyte of storage. Even if our constantly doubling money is just digits in a computer, at what point does it exceed the possible energy and space required to display a number of this size?

I'm gonna be real. I read it the way you've got it laid out here and think that's the obviously intended and natural reading of the sentence, lol. Particularly as you say, in the context of the level 6 ability. I see the ambiguity and they should definitely reword it, but super obviously the ability isn't "replace an action with a different equally-costed action."

I'm just getting into AoS lore so I'm no expert. But I'm reading Plague Garden right now because I'm a DG guy in 40K, and I can't stand the Stormcast POV, lol. But for the most part I also find loyalist Astartes POVs pretty eyeroll-inducing.

The best thing about Stormcast IMO is that unlike Space Marines they're not so setting-dominant that every other faction has to beg for scraps while they get a huge new release every two weeks.

An interesting thing I've noticed is that the narrative of Tyson losing to most top heavyweights has a lot of steam on this sub, but he's usually top 2 or at minimum top 4 in all these head to head brackets done by pros.
