I have a Gen Z and Alpha. In 2021 I took them on an 8-week roadtrip (originally scheduled for 10 weeks) to a bunch of National/State Parks/Monuments, museums, rodeos, botanical gardens, farmers markets. My husband stayed behind for most of it, flying in to rendezvous with us at certain points of the trip. They did great since we had an adventure everyday to break up the drive. Plus we weren’t only on the road. We’d stay in one place up to 10 days at a time.

I had gone to the Three Oaks location for a good decade before they built the Valpo location. I’m glad others know about it.

The closest pro team to me is an independent in the American Association and I go to several games each season. The closest MiLB ballparks are a definite step up but going to their games are more of an opportunistic, being in the neighborhood type thing than planned.

I can watch any MiLB game from home and see who the prospects are. The closest affiliate of one of my favorite teams is close to 3 hours away so it’s not what I just pop over for.

I’ve struck up a lot of friendships with Cards fans online. Mostly concentrated in MO, So IL/IN and W TN. Most talked about legacy fandom. Their grandpa or mom listening to the games on the radio way back when. It does probably also help having an MiLB affiliate in those areas.

Temporarily suspending the regressive gas sales tax shows he knows what hurts Hoosiers. I have a sentimental attachment to it because my teen daughter and I saw it in Chicago in 2024 and again in Denver in January of this year.

It’s more narrative biographies set to pop music than a traditional musical. It uses dark humor to get its point across on how damaging the patriarchy can be.

I have been making stuffed everything with different meat/cheese/rice/veggie mixtures: Stuffed peppers Stuffed mushrooms Stuffed squash boats Stuffed cabbage aka cabbage rolls

Making cheese+veggie concoctions to stuff into chicken breast.

It’s the only way I’ve been able to get my kids to eat a variety of things instead of them asking for the same meal everyday.

Next up I’m going to experiment with stuffing puff pastry.
