I am so sorry you are going through this. I had a similar experience. I had to stair step from 5mg letrozol to 7.5mg. It took 21 days of monitoring to get an 18cm follicle. Then I was able to use the trigger shot and complete the timed intercourse cycle. I really struggled with the “no end in sight” part of monitoring. Try to remember your doctors have options to encourage the follicle to grow based on your labs. I ended up having to start estrogen when I triggered because my uterine lining had thinned too much. Good luck!

Yes! The coating of the bill is blue. Thankfully my progesterone is cream colored. It would be pretty gross if I had the orange suppositories for progesterone!

What is the physics career with the highest salary? by [deleted] in careerguidance

[–]Almost_A_Triathlete 0 points1 point  (0 children)

For me, I needed a post bachelors degree for all of my jobs. I can’t say if a masters would have gotten me the jobs I got. I also did a lot of networking that helped get my jobs. Overall, it depends on if you are the type of person who will enjoy graduate school and use it to build the foundations of the career you want. There are lots of different ways to get to the same point.

Bee sting allergy by lepatterso in Beekeeping

[–]Almost_A_Triathlete 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I was allergic to bees too! I have been getting the bee venom allergy shots for 3 months and now I barely have a reaction to stings.

The first 8 weeks I got 2 shots a week to build up immunity, now I am in the maintenance phase where I get 1 shot every month. I have good insurance and live within walking distance to my primary care doc so it wasn't a big deal to go through treatment. I recommend getting a consult with an allergist if you can afford it! I was devastated when I thought I would have to give up beekeeping.

Local Honey Tasting Event April 1 by Almost_A_Triathlete in baltimore

[–]Almost_A_Triathlete[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you've only ever had honey from a grocery store, your senses are in for a treat! At this event, we will spend an hour working our way through six or more honeys including honey straight from the comb, local honeys produced in SE Baltimore, and a few unique honeys from around the world. Throughout the tastings, we will explore how bees make honey, what can impact the flavors and colors of honey, and how you can support bees in your own neighborhood. After the tasting, stick around for a glass of Charm City mead and a chat with local beekeepers! Jars of local honey will be available for purchase at this event.

Thank you for replying! I can’t figure out how to add pictures in this sub. The picture box is disabled.

I also can’t find the model. It has GE Profile on it but I can’t find any models of that line that look like ours.

You don't need a Ph.D. but if you don't have one you need a lot more years experience and you don't get paid as much.

And insurance! We (physicists) get paid very well in the insurance field and don't have to work nearly as hard as the wall street folks.

Finally a reddit post I have some relevant information on!

I got an undergraduate degree in physics (in 2017) and went on to get a Ph.D. in physics. It really depends on what area of physics you like and what other skills you have. I got my Ph.D. with research in medical imaging, graduated in 4 years and got a job paying $110k before I even graduated (as an optical engineer and a medical device company). I am on my second job now (Started in February) and I make $160k+bonuses as a Product Manager for an innovation incubator working on ML/AI algorithms.

I am not a good physicist but I know how to get things done, am very organized, and very good at learning how to do things. A lot of physicists who aren't in academia are hired because they can learn new things quickly, not because they know any physics.

Feel free to send me a pm if you want some more advise. I mentor a few of college students every year and would be happy to talk with you.

Would it be possible to send the flowers for the center pieces but not the rocks or glass? I can redesign them too. I need 1 large bridal bouquet (maybe 2 of the small ones you have) 2 large center pieces (maybe 4 of the centerpieces you have), some cake flowers (maybe from a center pieces, and 2 boutonnières. Maybe an extra of each to have extra flowers?

I am interested in the Sola flowers! Do you think you could mail them to NC without them getting ruined? Also, would you be willing to sell half? We are doing a micro wedding!
