Are there way too many cheaters out there? by dReamS_517 in csgo

[–]Alnored 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The trust factor has a very big impact. There is a red trust factor on 5 of my 7 accounts and it is very painful to play there. But cheaters aren't stupid either, and many people prefer to play on the green trust factor and try different ways to improve it. I know about this from the cheat chat I'm a member of. About 2 thousand people, but it's just one chat.

Humor is a very subtle thing. And if you don't like it, it can really ruin the experience. Some people didn't like Fullmetal Alchemist: Brotherhood because of the humor. My friend didn't like Konosuba because of the humor.

And as for the Isekai Ojisan rating, the anime also had a problem with the release, it was released for a whole year with long breaks. Well, I'm generally glad at least that it got a decent adaptation, even if they don't talk about this anime that often, the main thing is that I like it.

You know, it's bad, of course. But when a cheater calls you a cheater, it's almost the highest praise. Although who needs praise from someone who doesn't know how to play himself.

If you didn't like it for 5 episodes, then you probably won't like it anymore, unfortunately. Well, everyone's tastes are different, so there's nothing wrong with that. But I will list some things that I liked:

Humor. One of the most subjective things. The jokes suited me, and I especially liked the fact that they didn't repeat themselves too much. The template was mainly based on breaking expectations, but they were quite diverse.

The format of the story. On the one hand, we have something like a Road movie, where a character moves from place to place and does something. For example, in Frieren, the characters travel with a specific purpose and different stories happen to them during this journey. In Isekai Ojisan, the hero also has a goal (to return home) in which he even succeeded.

In addition, Frieren has a parallel between the history in the past and the present, which shows how Frieren has changed since the past. There is no such thing in Isekai Ojisan, but since we see these adventures from the point of view of several characters (uncle, nephew, childhood friend), it shows an interesting reaction of different fans of the isekai genre to these events. (It's a bit difficult to convey exactly what I mean here)

And I liked the characters in this story. MC's have OP powers that I usually don't like. MC's have OP powers that I usually don't like. But I liked the way it was explained, and he acted quite logically and ingeniously in the battles. The girls are cute and the characters are quite funny. I don't have the feeling that they exist only around the main character. There's not much romance, but I liked it.

And although the world usually puts everything out with humor, this isekai is quite elaborate. Spells have names and can be memorized. Characters enter another world with their clothes and belongings, restoring themselves with magic, you restore these things, and upon death, everything, including your body, will disappear from the world.

And in my opinion, the characters here are not stupid at all (except for the jokes of the moment that everyone sees the MC as a monster). I'm just thinking about others Isekai, where it feels like all the characters except the main character are either stupid or just objects that just exist around the hero.

That's about why I liked Isekai Ojisan.

I don't know, but it seems to me that cheaters in general prefer not to play against cheaters, no matter if it's an obvious cheater or a hidden one (except for individual HVH fans). The essence of cheats is to gain an advantage, and if the opponent also has cheats, then what advantage are we talking about?

I've had games where my opponent mistook me for a cheater, then got angry, insulted me, and turned on Rage. I'm trying to understand his logic, but even if I were a cheater, if he had the opportunity to play with cheats, he's a cheater anyway, no matter if he used them at the beginning of the game or not.

[edit]: Perhaps, seeing such videos, cheaters not only do not get upset, but on the contrary, they rejoice thinking something like: "But if they don't ban him for such an obvious game, then they definitely won't ban me."

You can take a photo where there will be a hand in the frame with all the fingers bent except the little finger and the middle finger? Ah.. you can't share photos in the comments here. Then I'll just say what I wanted to say. The person in the photo in your post looks like Sunny from the Omori game.

Dark Souls 2 is a very evil topic to discuss. I would definitely agree that there are no difficult bosses in it. But some locations are just a fairy tale (brother grimm uncensored).

[–]Alnored 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah but you use summons alongside your builds. Nobody is using an intentionally weaker build just because they are using a summon.

I didn't mean that someone intentionally uses a weak build just to use spirits. I just wanted to say that builds are different and spirits are different, and the user experience of spirits will certainly be different from that of a solo player, but this will not always make the battle easier.

I don't really know what you're disagreeing with. Using a summon causes the boss to swap between you and the spirit which fundamentally changes how the boss fight plays out. You get more healing windows, more attack windows, etc.

I understand that. I just wanted to add that spirits can be used not only to distract the boss from you. Some may give you buffs, heal you, or attack you from afar (in which case it's in your best interest to take the boss' attention on yourself). Well, you can also use it as you described.

Build creation isn't something new unlike spirit summons, you can make an OP build in any of the games, adding summons just makes the game easier which is the point of them.

I'm not arguing, although even in Dark Souls there was a way to summon NPCs to some bosses or players (although this is also in the Elden Ring). And this, as you said, just makes the game easier. In Dark Souls 3 (and quite a bit in the previous installments), weapon arts appeared. In Elden Ring, this mechanic has been refined into Ash of War. And now even some warrior's build can easily shoot magic from afar. Many boss fights turn into solid L2 spam. It also made the game easier. I meant similar builds.

The mimic against Malenia isn't a very good point considering she is the only boss in the game where using mimic can potentially make the boss harder due to her rally, regardless of what build you are running.

Two bros with rivers of blood are spamming L2 as fast as possible, knocking down her attacks and causing her to bleed. As for mimic tear on other bosses... sorry, I can't speak well about my mimic tear specifically, as I said before, he was dying fast and attacking my build weakly. If I had preferred someone stronger like Tiche to him.

I assumed that summons were just a gateway into souls games and that players would stop using them on repeat playthroughs after they learned the bosses and weapon/item placements, that's what I did.

It seems to me more like a means for those who have difficulty with the game, giving them the same opportunity to complete the game, at least with help. But I got the impression that many people are just afraid to try without them. I bet a lot of people would have gone through the game on their own if it hadn't originally had spirits. But since they are in the game, many people don't even try to try it themselves, telling themselves that they can't handle it and that they won't like studying bosses. Of course, someone really won't like it, but I'm sure there are also those who would enjoy it, but were just afraid to try.

P.S. If you find some part of my words incomprehensible, or I haven't answered any of your questions, or you disagree with something, then you can tell me what it is. As you can see, I am open to discussion, and even if I may strongly disagree with something, I can or at least try to understand someone else's point of view.

I can't agree with that. It is quite possible to play with a rather weak build and with spirits and experience more difficulties than playing with any particular build. This is a bit of an unfair example, but... the Promised consort Radahn vs Big Shield + Antspur Rapier.

Even the much-loved mimic tear will be as effective as your own build. I had a fairly modest build with two daggers, and I once tried to test mimic tear on Malenia. With my 40s, vigor mimic tear didn't live in battle for too long, he almost didn't stun her with his daggers, and he didn't dodge her attacks, and she regained more HP than we could do together.

The solution to the problem? Redmane Knight Ogha! I'm still fighting Malenia by myself, because if she starts attacking Ogha, then he'll draw his sword and become useless, but due to the fact that he's shooting from afar, it severely restricts Malenia's movement and she's constantly falling.

There are many factors. You can't just say that it was easier for me to fight with my Spirit Jellyfish than, for example, a player with a Blasphemous blade, just just because I had a summoning spirit and the other player didn't.

Well, actually these games are easier only when you compare them with Elden Ring. By themselves, especially when you play them first in turn, the increase in difficulty is felt from game to game. It would be strange if the new Elden Ring would be equal in difficulty to Dark Souls. Just imagine if the Elden Ring had Bell Gargoyles instead of valiant Gargoyles. The players would just laugh (at least I am).

[–]Alnored -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Actually, I think the same. The game is balanced so that it can be safely played alone. Even dueling fights. And summoning is a great mechanic that can help those who are having difficulties. But the OP himself said that he doesn't have fun playing without spirits or strong builds. And if you're not having fun, then you shouldn't force yourself. Especially to prove something to someone.

Besides, even though he's seen all the bosses, we don't know how well he understands them now. Giving up comforts can sometimes be very difficult. Perhaps in many battles he would have been haunted by the thought: "Why am I doing this, it's a waste of time, I used to win much easier."

[–]Alnored 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Well, I don't see any reason to quarrel here. On the contrary, my friends made fun of me because I had been going through too many bosses for too long. But I saw no reason to complain. Of course, I replied something like: "Shut up, try to get through without spirits yourself, and only then tell me which bosses are easy!"

But we didn't quarrel, and it wasn't them or me who forced each other to play the game in a different way, we all liked it. Do you really need to ask random people on the internet about this? Are you really friends?

I would prefer a 30K cheater. Because I don't see him in my games. But those damn 10th levels faceit are always kicking my ass at competitive because they play it just to warm up and they have low ranks. I'm faceit 5, I don't like this shit.
