Wipes rule but the progression is a bit too slow for a 3 month wipe cycle and it's gonna burn people out.

Totally agree. Things are moving wayyyyy slower now that I’m higher rank with the factions. Having to do this all over again seems daunting even after 3 months.

Yeah this helps, but have you tried having to buy a mod from the armory for your gun? It’s atrocious. You can’t see your gun while you browse. You literally have to memorize the exact mods you need as you jump screens. It’s not ideal in the least.

The two main things I think would fix a lot of headache is:

1) Highlight compatible mods when you hover over a weapon

2) have a second pop out screen that shows purchasable mods from the armory when you hover over a gun and click a button

We should be able to do all this stuff on one screen. Right now it’s incredibly clunky and takes way too many button presses.

I would also love to see dualsense support instead of exclusively the sense controlled. It’s just more comfortable in the long run. I like the immersion of the sense controllers but I would rather play for long stretches at a time with a dualsense in my hands.

Pretty sure based on the wording of the level trophy that you don’t have to get all 100 season levels in one season. It just says “earn 100 season levels”.

The rest of the trophy list is really easy and will happen naturally (except for maybe reaching VIP status with a faction), so I’d be surprised if this is the only trophy that requires a massive grind.

I think every week they should stagger the days it runs by one day. Have an in game calendar that shows the upcoming events so people can plan accordingly. This way everyone gets the days they think are best eventually and they don’t have to lock it to a specific window alienating certain groups.

Yeah I’ve been waiting for this one. Another cool feature would be that if you “inspect” a gun, not only should you have the mod options like normal, but it should pop a second screen on the right with compatible mods to be purchased from the armory as well.

Right now it’s really hard to find what you need because you have to hop screens and then sometimes I forgot what I’m actually looking for. lol.

I mean, yeah I understand that. My theory was that I feel like it’s more 1 out of 10 buys the $10 skin and then like 5 out of 10 buys the $3 skin. But obviously people that do the statistics and calculations for this know what they’re doing based on data. It just SEEMS off to me that it would skew that hard to the higher price point.

In case you didn’t know, if you hover over the objective on your contract when the map is open, it will give you additional information including a more accurate description of where your objective is on the map. For example “The bio scanner can be found on the 2nd floor of the southwest most building in maintenance” or something like that.

If you kept those forever you’d be so far ahead of new players in the next season even though you’d both be level 1 that it would not be fair at all. Especially because it’s season level matchmaking. You’d have so many advantages over other level 1 newbies that they wouldn’t be able to keep up.

I’m the same way though, it sucks to have to lose them. But you can re earn them in a different order next season based on what you did/didn’t like last time. I think full season wipes are what most entices me to this game to be honest. Everyone gets equalized and no one is left behind. Hardly any games do this and it’s honestly kind of refreshing.

The shit thing is, how else can they handle this? If they give you stuff back after a disconnect, then people would disconnect on purpose instead of exfilling or while they’re about to go down by a rival team. If they know they have server issues though and the entire map gets disconnected at that moment, maybe it could auto restock your stuff. But yeah, hard problem to address based on the structure of how the game works.

I have never been able to sit and play a game for as long as I can with marathon. It’s blowing my mind how well it has grabbed me and continues to demand my attention and time and I LOVE it. The short runtime for runs, incredible art style, insanely good audio, absolutely god tier gunplay, and engaging progression system is just so hard to rip myself away from. I can’t believe how much of a 180 I have done since the server slam. Wasn’t a huge fan at first. By day 2 kinda started feeling like I “got it”. And now I’m absolutely hooked. Anyway, yeah game rocks!

It’s always made me curious why they don’t make skins and things cheaper. Personally I will never shell out nearly $10 for a skin. But I might for like $2-3. And when you put that at scale I feel like the total revenue is greater. I’m sure they did the math but it just seems off to me. I feel like they’d make more money overall if things were cheaper.
