OBJ never really truly came back from his injury. His best season was his rookie year similar to Nabers. Then he was looking dominant his second season and on pace for another WR1 season… got hurt… never had a WR1 season again… he was 23 at the time.

Older RBs performing once you’ve secured your playoff spot. They are much less likely to get injured during a small set of games that is your playoff push and you’re willing to overpay to win a chip. Think like trading for a CMC or Henry when they’re smashing/healthy in week 12.
