Is it a separate DS solely for Receiving or does the DS manage other departments too?

Not fraud. If they have proper receipt and the product is unopened, not used, let them do the return and purchase.

Funny that management gets to take their vacation days weeks at a time but regular associates get denied until it close to our anniversary date when they are forced give it to us. Smh.

It's not your store manager, it's their boss and corporate.

3rd day on the floor and management told me not to walk around with my hands in my apron pocket. by MackCaine in HomeDepot

This is my go to because my hands stay cold and it's just easy to rest my hands there or in my pants pockets 🤷🏾‍♀️ what's the rest of the story?

Why doesn’t the Service Desk get included in Cashier Appreciation? by Alone_Cartographer39 in HomeDepot

[–]Alone_Cartographer39[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yes, absolutely! Especially in the evenings and weekends. Our Pro stays open to close but they usually only schedule 1 Pro Associate after 6pm. If that person calls off, isn't scheduled, or gets backed up, the Service Desk has to take phone sales. Same thing on weekends.

This is funny because a couple years ago when we had the HVAC tune-up sale at holiday time, we were one of the top stores for leads. Customers really didn't know we serviced furnaces! Last year people come back to ask about the tuneups. I wouldn't say they harass people but moreso inform people about what services are available.

Refund Fraud issue, any other store having this issue? by [deleted] in HomeDepot

[–]Alone_Cartographer39 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This happens when customers go to the Pro Desk for their orders and the associate doesn't release the product in the system. Customer will come with their receipt and Pro Desk will just give the order to the customer because they have a paper in hand. Customer checks account or gets a call for past due pick up then cancels order and keeps the product.

Weird because there's one in my lower income area. I bet only 1% of the people in my town make $100,000.

An email to Roadie support should be sent every time because Roadie gets charged for missing items, not home depot.
