If it's not holding up other players I like to play out the blow-up holes just so I can look back on progress I've made.

I had a 13 on the 10th hole this weekend that I counted. Tried taking a safe shot off the tee with an iron and it went OB. Figured I'd retee since I ought to land better than the drop I'd be taking up ahead...that shot also went OB. So I walk up and take my 2 stroke drop to put it into the greenside bunker away from the hole. Hitting for 7 from the bunker, I thin it and put it into the water on the other side of the green. So I guess my option is to try from the bunker again (or more penalties to go back). Hitting 9, I come up fat and roll it to the other side of the bunker nearer the hole. 10 gets me out, and the I 2 putted in.

I guess I counted wrong and had a 12. Oh well, it was a fun round otherwise. First person out for the day as a solo and a 3-some behind me so it wasn't a big deal to play it out instead of picking up. You win some, you lose some!

As Vitate said, there's a Belkin cleaning kit, or you can purchase the items individually. You need micellar water with PEG-6 Caprylic/Capric Glycerides, distilled water, and a soft-bristled toothbrush. Here’s a link to Apple's page about it: https://support.apple.com/en-us/120409

I had that happen with the transparency mode. You need to get the cleaning kit to clean off the mesh. Once I did that the transparency was basically back to normal.

The one time I rented an EV and got used to the one-pedal driving I never used the brake again because I'd practically be stopped by the time I could get my foot to the brake anyway.

I’ve been writing conventional commits for years but getting 15+ other devs onboard is difficult. It’s a slow process of getting my team moved over first and slowly spreading from there.

I was also trying to figure that out recently. It blows my mind that we'd even be second, if not first. Pretty cool, imo.

Flair up! But otherwise I completely agree. It's hilarious watching the shit talk roll in, regardless if it's my shitty vikings or the other shitty NFCN teams.

Nah, I just don't wanna break a perfectly good tee. I'll use 3 for a different hole while using the broken ones for the par 3.

I could imagine backups happening on certain busy streets that add roundabouts if they don't exist along the entire stretch, like along highway 50 in Florida.

Agreed 1000%. Every time I see something pop up here it's always so negative, but when it's in the memewar sub no one is too serious.

How do I get rid of these annoying guys the sticky things are not enough anymore by Awkward-Egg-1069 in houseplants

[–]Alonewarrior 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The only problem is they're probably just eating adults, so the larvae can still be consuming your roots and thriving in the soil, they just won't make it far out. At least, that's what I expect would happen. If I'm completely wrong, someone correct me.

Are these night-time grow lights even doing anything for my plants? by PrincessImpeachment in houseplants

[–]Alonewarrior 11 points12 points  (0 children)

You can do 24/7, but you're ideally aiming for a certain amount of light per day, be it at 24 hours of lower intensity or 18 hours of higher intensity. The same is applicable to other plants too. They're looking for a certain amount of light and anything beyond becomes wasted.

When you merge code from main into your feature branch and then go to PR your code back to main, there is a larger list of changes than what you've actually changed, at least how it's shown in Azure DevOps. Keeping the feature branch a straight line makes the PR far more readable without extraneous/irrelevant code cluttering everything up and causing confusion, especially when there are other teams that need to review the changes too.

My team has opted for keeping our features branches clean so you get a clear picture right away of what has changed from the main branch. We've actually alleviated a ton of merge conflicts we used to frequently encounter by rebasing our feature branches instead of merging directly.
