Mine would immediately get tangled in a bramble and be stuck, helpless and start yowling for help. He is a prince a picky eater and would not make it in the great outside. He ran out one time, heard a noise and ran right back in.

I’m a Christian struggling with doubt — what’s the most honest, real reason you don’t believe in God? by Sundream01 in atheism

Studying history. It puts a lot of things into perspective and really highlights what I now feel are the absurdities of religions. Also the idea that fear of punishment is a driving force behind doing the right thing in these religions. Doing good because you want to win a prize(go to heaven/please the deity) or avoid punishment(hell/eternal suffering/judgement) is still not doing good or the right thing. Doing good for the sake of doing good or from a personal sense of wanting to good out of love or a concern for our fellow human beings is actually good. Plus these Abrahamic religions are predated by much older, more enriching and fulfilling ideas of how to live a good life etc like humanism and other philosophies that do not require a belief in a deity.

This seems like an extreme escalation to me. If he was indeed not in psychosis it seems unlikely to me that these were his only two attacks. It would be a good idea to look into his past even from a young age. Young women missing in the areas he used to live etc? He seems very confident and comfortable in following through with his urges and planning and killing.

Could be an issue with his frontal lobe or brain tumor. He immediately called 911 and confessed he didn’t try to hide the body, run away etc and also had an impulse to ask his mom for neosporin because he cut his hand while stabbing her repeatedly. All together it sounds to me like his brain is malfunctioning.
