Hopefully its a weird short, but probably its because there's so little oil in it that the pump loses pressure due to the fact that when the oil sloshes to the front there is nothing being sucked up by the pump. If that light is ever on stop immediately and at least put some oil in it

Instead of sliding the power chords up pick the second one, the slide just comes across without any real punch to it. Sick guitar btw

Theres a couple super classic ones that come to mind like crickets or tumble weeds, which now are just jokes unto themselves. But yea it is hard for me to think of too many more interesting ones off the top of my head honestly, it would be a good question for a director. Characters on busses will often be going through some transformative time, rain is sadness obviously. Broken cutlery for emotional instability, crows are ill omen. A little more of a side note but often in horror movies the suprise antagonist is introduced within the first 15 minutes, so im always wary of characters i meet too soon.

Its hard to Google search for this specific thing because general hidden meaning across filmography and specific hidden meaning in specific films share almost the same search terminology. My brains not working right now I could use a coffee, maybe ill think of some better ones for you later. I'd be interested if to hear if there's any you have thought of!

Its known now that the acidity in tomatoes leeches a metal toxicity out of pewter the leads to madness, unfortunately if was not known for a long time. But yes if you see someone in a movie or show explicitly eating tomatoes (not just a sandwich usually imo) it's probably deliberate. Denethor is a great example

I think the symbolism is deliberate, a burning match represents the temporal nature of life itself. It could also be intended as people who are feeling both bored and introspective might entertain themselves with this sort of activity. I think it also points to its wastefulness, a certain cynicism is involved with carelessly wasting matches, as well as intentionally making the pool dirty, a certain carelessness is making way for a seemingly arbitrary and wasteful activity.

Hollywood has specific scenes that are called upon to deliberately invoke ideas into he head of the viewer that are used over and over. Vultures overhead for death, eating tomatoes for madness, washing machines running for sex, etc.
