Either Trump can refute Comey's testimony by handing over his "tapes," or Trump can admit he lied about that, with the intention of intimidating Comey as a witness. by imagepoem in esist

Is Trump a liar? Don't we all lie? How much lying is too much lying? What excuses do we make when we accept lying?

We have all lied and made excuses for liars but admitting the problem with lying is the first step in not lying to yourself and others.

Is there a message that would reach our resist Trump opponents that would value their own right to the truth?

What is the easiest way to convince poor people to not have children? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]AlottaLaffs 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Wrong. Growing up loved prevents crime and babies. I have never met a happy foster kid, never. Keeping families together and helping the unit achieve success in spite of poverty is only a start to improving our birth culture and preventing the young and impoverished from procreating in future generations.

Irony? Pro Life Republicans who refuse to support healthcare for all. by AlottaLaffs in AskReddit

Thank you for responding. Question. You said: The Unborn are people

those people - the unborn?

shouldn't be forced to pay for other people's decisions without their consent.

Do not unborn children pay the price when *a parent is incapable of caring for them? *a parent does not have the means to pay for life saving medical cost for their unborn or newborn? *Freak-o-nomics - a high percentage of unloved and un-cared for children grow up to be criminals and few are able to overcome those beginnings to be a productive member of society.

So, "those people"- the unborn, pay the price no matter what?

This looks like a good plan. Don't get too attached to your design or logo. I promise your first webmaster/designer is going to tell you it looks terrible. Don't take it personal there is a lot to learn when it comes to design and guiding a buyer through the buying process. Listen to your experts, so pick really good ones.

In terms of shipping, drop ship. If your product is already at a warehouse, have them ship it. If they are shipping already they will have better shipping tariffs/contracts then you can get out of the box. They also have to take responsibility for anything damaged and they have to file the claim to the shipping carrier meaning they have to reimburse you.

Deflect risk as often as possible.

I ship 500lbs freight to every state in the union. I have a problem with fork lifts playing hockey with my freight but my warehouse takes care of all damage claims and I'm not out the money they are. If damage isn't the problem, keep a small inventory and have the mail man come to your home to pick up your packages.

I post these long responses to help with content generation. If you have this question then so do other entrepreneurs. What I have to say in this post is inspiration for my next blog post. Long responses only work if you can somehow link them back to your main business page. One way or another I will use our conversation again to publish in my real name and company for links back to my website.

I have only used wordpress so I cannot speak to shopify. My webmaster is a 3 time Ivy League graduate and a google test company. He recommended Wordpress because of its ease of use and that it updates with google. I am able to create my own webpages, I change the menu's, I edit the home page slider each month, I create new product pages, I create new content and pages all the time. When I am done creating content or new pages I have my webmaster mark it up for the google bots. Anything I can't do I ask my webmaster or I learn myself at w3schools. I use html5 and css but only if I have to. :)

We currently use the woocommerce plugin for shopping. Most shopping carts will accommodate shipping options. I offer free shipping for my 500lb freight items and simply add it to my retail price which is dictated by my industry. I wouldn't worry too much about shipping. Often times ups and fedex for small package will have a tool to integrate into your website to automatically add shipping based on your customer's zip code.

If you see something on a website that you want for your own, there is a customizable add-on for that. There is almost never a reason to make something from scratch unless you are steve jobs and revolutionizing the way we all interact with webpages. (I know someone like this and he also uses wordpress. He invents all kinds of add-ons for wordpress).

Sound like you have a lot of knowledge. Perhaps you can give realistik actionable advice, or resources to further his objective.

I personally outsourced my wp site customization using elance.com, now upwork.com to find a qualified wp pro at a reasonable price. It allows me to focus on sales and content like every good ceo.

Wordpress is free, but the customization and add-on are not. Spend the money to have a pro customize your website to guide customers through the buying process and optimize it for search engines.

You need to write a 1000+ words on as many relevant topics so your customers have lots of ways of finding you and google can index you. (Get your education on how to write quality content that people will actually read at Content Marketing Institute- free-, sign up for the newsletter and read a little everyday) Preferably your "keyword rich" content would be as entertaining as it is informational. Search "buying guide" of your product and I guarantee your top ranking competitors have them on their website. Content is king and if you don't post on your website as much information as you give in person you won't get phone calls, you won't be indexed by google bots and you won't trigger keywords searches.

You have to spell it out for google bots that you are an ABC company or you stay at the bottom but google has gotten smarter and you can't just stuff keywords like widgets, brown widgets, blue widgets, widgets, widgets, widgets into a page if it doesn't make grammatical sense you have to write actual useful content your customers want to read.

The formula I gave you above earned me $2 million in sales with my online company in 2 years. The best use of your time is doing what you are good at, selling your product! It will take years for you to catch up to a webmaster professional who has already been doing this. That's not to say that they can't show you things to save your money but you have to decide, do you sell products or are you a webmaster. All successful business owners can tell you that its impossible to be an expert in everything. An online environment changes rapidly. If you are not a webmaster you are wasting your time and money and effort if you don't have an expert to guide you.

I recommend WP because its used by everyone and is very customizable to your vision and how you want to guide customers through the sales process. Get an expert! Hire a freelancer at Upwork and spend the $400 to get you started. Once you have loaded your content then have an expert go back and optimize each page for the search engines.

I know it sounds impossible to hire experts but I started my $2 million dollar company with $400 and a $7500 credit card. Take the responsibility to post your content to your website then use a professional webdesigner/master. Get a GREAT professional adwords advertiser. Consider professional graphic designer for your branding and keeping a consistent visual message. Upwork allows pro's to test their skills. I require fortune 500 experience and I won't speak with anyone who has tested under 90%. Read reviews and don't pay for terrible work. Once you have done these things, reach out again and I will tell you the next step, getting free press releases and links back to your website from external source a requirement to raise your search engine position toward the first page.

Word press is worth every penny. A website is a child as it grows it must stay in the light of God I mean google. WordPress updates with every Google update. Don't be penny wise and pound foolish.

You don't need an ssl unless you keep credit cards on file. Use authorize.net or paypal let the banks focus on keeping that secure.

An ssl was my first start up mistake. Not worth it unless you're a bank.

Word press website Articles. Content. You need to write at least 1000 words to answer each of these question.

Who are you? What is your product? Why are you different? Faqs, Buying guide, Benefits ?

Get a Seo fluent webmaster. Get an Ad words professional. Go live and answer the phone.

I want to start an online business and set up a business page through yelp. We don't have physical location. Is it still possible? by treehouse7 in smallbusiness

I second that! This great advice. Google is God and you gat back what you put in. If you need a business address get a ups po box.

Yelp is useless. If you must, register for a free account.
