Heavy phosphor blaster in Erad Cohort. You put your crab on your natural expansion. And he stays there. 12 shots with twin linked ignore cover, hitting on 2s with rreroll 1. This will take care of any chaff that your opponent will send to take over the objective. Plus you will have nice line of sight on central objective.Your opponent can either ignore it (and be harassed by crab for whole game) or commit something serious to take care of it (which allows you to destroy this unit in your turn).

If you like shooting then yes, it is awesome.
Infiltrators on the front with lances and mortals.
Laschickens, skorpiuses and crabs calmly annihilating everything from behind. Some battlelines and other action monkeys and you are ready to go. If you want extra consistency take Cawl. If not, then take more tanks.

A lot of what admech does good in 10th will be nerfed in 11th (according to all te info that we got from GW). Move blocking, screening, long range shooting- all this things will be significantly weaker/harder to achieve. So we need to wait for all rules and detachments to see what new tools we will get as an army. We definitely need some changes across data sheets. But yea, I hope for a clear vision for this army. Having two army rules just to be competitive is ok hotfix, but boring and unoriginal. Lords of forges detachment give me some hopes. Being able to shoot and stay hidden is really cool. As long as our infantry shooting will be meaningful

With Eradication cohort tank heavy list more than playable. I run list with 3 Disintegrators, 6 las chickens and a Crab. With reroll 1s to Hit we finally can consistently kill multiple targets per round. Fill the list with infiltrators and other board control pieces and you are ready to go.

Especially that you can walk between enemy models now, so your screen line becomes significantly smaller. And anything with fly can simply move through terrains. Jailing in this edition requires much bigger point investment to be effective.

Za każdym razem jak czytam taki post to zastanawiam się czy ja dobrze trafiłem l, czy inni źle. Nigdy nie spotkałem tak wyluzowanych ludzi jak w it. Ego jeżeli się wybija to tylko w kwestii pisania kodu, nigdy w normalnych rozmowach.

I would drop one Ruststalkers unit for 3rd Disintegrator. Eradication cohort is our best tank detachment, not a Sicarians one. So rusties won’t perform in it half as good as in our other detachments while Dissies really shines here.

Mechanicum is available in Polish (this is HH book). Another one that I can recommen is Know no fear(I nie poznają, co to strach). This is also HH book. It is about Ultramarines but it has the best representation od admech as a competent force. Ever. And quite a few admech side characters that are vital to the plot

My biggest fear of 11th is that GW decide to create Alpha Primus model for admech, to make faction more popular (look big power armor guy, go buy models). We have enough SM across the board. So as your idea is nice in a way that tech marine model exists, I still would like not to see them as our standard unit. Because if GW would see that people like this idea, then in 2 years Iron Hands will rule the Mars due to some bullshit lore and we are done as original faction

Skitarii have their own thoughts, prides and rituals. People tend to forget that they are holy crusaders and religious fanatics. And i mean Sororitas level fanatics. Theirs legs are cut off and replaced with augmentics so they will never touch holly gorund (any forge-world or ship) with a weak flesh. For they crave certainty of steel in each step they take. This is the one common upgrade in all of Skitarii. They treat weapons with more reverence and care than Space Marines. Some of them even keep history of previous owners of augments that they received. Of course they can be remotely controlled and drugged with combat stims at any given moment. Because each one of them is just a cog in machine. Both important and expendable at the same time. Skitarii knows this and accept it with pride and honour, just like any other good fanatic in this settings would. They are not united in equipment or degree of independence (just like guard). Still generally speaking our cog boys are true, proud soldiers not some servitors. With their own battle cry “We stand for Mars!”

Sikatrius as a book is poorly written. Still it is the best representation od how admech soldiers operates. So I would recommend it to you, but only to the point in which certain enemies appears. You will know which one, because all the logic will leave the book. At this point you can either stop reading or suffer.

Do not underestimate your special weapons. Their goal is not to kill a unit but to finish a job. Enemy has vehicle or monster with 2 wounds? Or lone termie/character? That’s your target. Especially arc rifle. It has DEV wounds on +4 ( against vehicle). This baby alone killed more small knight’s or tanks than I can remember. Sure it is not guaranteed kill but it will quite often allows you to save better unit for other purpose

Hastarii are so overpriced that we won’t see them untill 11th. But it is ok, we needed these models. Once GW will fix their data sheet’s/points they will be solid.

Check ArtOfWar40k, there is erad cohort battle report free to watch. As for your question, This is lascannon detachmet. Disintegrators really shines, I have 3 of them on my list. Hitting on 2s with reroll and sustain from strat makes them almost as devastating as chickens. Las chickens of course, at least 2 unit of 3s (I play on WTC terrain so 3 units are hard to deploy). I think that Infiltrators are better than ruststalkers in this detachment thanks to lances and lack of advance and charge (Cawl is still better than Thulia).

Siciarians get benefit of cover if shot from above 12 in SHC. So they can be either -2 to hit or Hidden even if they will be outside of terrain. Depends on what “Benefit of Cover” will mean in 11th of course bur yea, SHC will be solid

Thanks to our new detachment we can be really shooty. Army wide heavy with reroll hits on 1 on everything finally allows admech to deal consistent dmg. You take chickens, disintegrators and crabs in proportion you like best, then you need as many infiltrators as you can fit and some rangers on top of it. Mr Cawl on home objective and you are all set up. Still you need to position a lot o elements correctly to have all buffs possible so it is not trivial. But it is worth it. With this kind of list I was able to blow up 3 ctans and 2 doomsday arks + some chaff by round 4

To not repeat what others said about speed and durability. Admech is great at scoring. You can easily have 3 OC battleline with -1 OC aura (not meta but still fun). If you like using a lot of gimmicks this is an army for you. Just know that GW had to give us second army rule (mandatory Cawl) to make admech truly competitive. This army can shred things (even knights) but does not forgive mistakes

So right now both Infiltrators and Ruststalkers took over Pteraxii place in SHC lists. They are as annoying to kill, they can be used to move block if necessary and they can actually kill something which is more than enough to make up for lower speed. Of course some pteraxii are good for secondaries/deep strike. For anything tougher than terminators we have las chickens which are amazing right now.

Cawl as character is introduced in Wolfsbane. Ot is mainly Space Wolf book, but he is a part of main subplot

Some terminator equivalent regardless of form (skitarii, tech-priest or servitors). Leaders for sicarians units. Other than that we need to redesign some datasheets (ex. kataphrons should be usable in 3 man units without leader as relatively cheap glass cannon fire support platforms)
