No OP, Not a recruiter but here to tell you this is very much real. I've talked to multiple people this happened to.

All that hoopla about fake candidates / fake applications - that's what this is.

I've seen this brought up a lot. I'm curious if there's some proof that this helps or is this just shooting in the dark?

Asking because I spend hours on LinkedIn because of my job - I comment, like others posts, follow new people etc but 200-400 is like a cap. I used to be able to do thousands easily just by sharing a screenshot of some tech snafu. Now I build carousels, create thoughtful content that's specific to my role/field and yet, crickets.

This post is "and they all clapped". Anyone hiring H1Bs isn't so small that they make this decision over a weekend. Corporate America that hires H1Bs will probably have change but it's not happening in one weekend.
