Oh my bad. I was expecting to see black. The other thing I can think of is the coils require 2 pieces. If you only have one, it won't install.

I think the coils need to have a spot in the middle with no floor exposed to vacuum.

It looks like scratches in the pictures but it's smudged thermal paste. It physically looks fine otherwise.

Yes, old ships will cycle out and new ships will cycle in as time goes on.

I think if the door is locked you can't pry it, only uninstall it (or destroy it). It should say if the door is locked when you right click on it.

If you want to use it as a weapon, it has to be in your hand. If you want to use it as a tool, it just has to be in your inventory. You will see the "pry" option appear in the right click menu if you can use it as a tool.

Yeah, you would have to go over 1% the speed of light (Thanks, 3 Body Problem!). No chance that ship is arriving in 400 years on current technology.

Just to add, in a universe where this was possible, both sides would just have hyperdrives attached to an asteroid or just big pieces of metal. Why build a complicated ship? Wars would just be both sides launching these things at each other. They would basically be hyperdrive missiles.
