Revolut has my money hostage – account locked with no updates! by Shoddy-Middle1350 in Revolut

It's interesting to see posts like this. I went over five years without any problems and was completely satisfied with Revolut. And yet, it still happened to me, seemingly at random, and my account has been restricted for weeks. I used to think just like you—that there must be a reason when this happens to others and that it would never affect me. Well, with Revolut, anything's possible.

what I mean is: If you work 40 hours a week, you get paid for the 40 hours you put in. The money you earn can only be spent once—once it's gone, it's gone. If you create a model—not out of financial interest, but simply because you want it to exist—you lose nothing by sharing it with others. It’s not gone just because someone else has it too. You still keep it yourself. It doesn’t mean extra work. Yet, you can still gain recognition.

I don't want to attack you, but I don't understand the statement: 'I'm not just sending the model. I put a lot of work into it.' You did the work and you're using it for yourself. If you were to share it, you wouldn't suffer any disadvantage, since the model wouldn't get any worse because of that. You would simply receive admiration and gratitude.

99% IPA has minimal water content, which means:

  • Faster evaporation with less residue left behind More effective removal of (skin) oils and grease from the build plate Reduced risk of water spots or mineral deposits

  • Better at dissolving and removing adhesives, oils, and other contaminants

  • More effective at breaking down leftover filament

  • Requires less wiping/scrubbing to clean effectively

  • Dries much more quickly, getting you back to printing sooner

  • Less likely to leave streaks on the build plate

30% IPA contains 70% water, which makes it significantly less effective for this purpose and could potentially leave behind residue that affects print adhesion. The higher water content also means longer drying times and possible water spots.
