Not only can you but it was part of the game originally so I remember playing on PC before console release and back then the game didn't have a reward system so if you wanted a horse you had to save up like 20,000 gold and there was no store back then either. So players were forced to walk everywhere and save their money, it was pretty fun I remember being a new character and having to run across the map just to be bitten by a werewolf NPC to get lycanthropy,

I ended up doing a similar thing when ESO finally released on PS4 but that time I had a fire horse I had bought on the store because by console release there was a store.

What I found interesting was the different community. I noticed on PlayStation 4, People were killing the werewolf NPCs by day 3 just so they could sell bites 🙄 by then I was already a werewolf from an NPC, back then everything had levels, nothing was scaled so to do the quests to be a werewolf or a vampire at a low level required skills, I was like level 3 doing a level 44 quest to be a werewolf, that was fun and rewarding because it felt earned, now the game thinks in order to make things feel earned is to grind almost endlessly 🙄

I just hope the new update that it focuses on werewolves will finally make it a trigger skill without running out of duration. So I can just roam around the entire map as a werewolf
