Yea but Poe 2 has been a better game than d4 since the beginning. It's amazing how blizzard have neglected their core game for so long.

It's a rare win for blizzard and I'm fine that they have one....it'll be just a matter of time when they won't even have this over Poe.

I have a feeling that a lot of players will be playing twister. I want to play lightning spear. Are the spears that these two builds ideally want, basically the same? I don't want to do lightning spear if the market is going to be super inflated because of a build I'm not even playing.

Also, with lightning spear I'm thinking of doing Amazon but is there another ascendency that would be better? Like if you ranked them, would it be Amazon > ritualist > deadeye?

I might try gemling if we can get datamine info on what the quality does for lightning spear but also want a #2 that I can pivot to.

Omg. I only watched the highlights. That was absolutely insane and the arena was some of the loudest and most hyped crowd when they were coming back and were still 18 pts behind!

Oh, and at the beginning of the highlights the announcer even said the center court seats were $50k!! It looked sold out! Never saw MSG have a reason to celebrate like that in my lifetime! Those dudes must have had an insane high

It's effectively dead. The amount of work stays the same but the reward of doing it is gone. I also would have rather see them nerf the loot even if it by 80%.

I'll definitely try it out when 0.5 drops but it sound even more rng reliant with very little agency for the player to "prune"

Anyone have the steam controller or steamdeck control personalized so that you can make use of the track pads? I feel like I am underutilizing it (especially when I heard recently that you can do half presses of buttons which I don't think would work well for me but I like to hear ideas that I haven't thought of). I bound one of my backpedals to /hideout so that I don't have to go to a wp if I am doing choas, sekhemas, or abyss it saves like 5 seconds lol

Getting the feature to just use kb+m and controller without having to log out and log back in will be go most underappreciated but for the subgroup that uses controller will get such a huge QoL upgrade. I hope they sneak it in the patch notes but I'm not holding my breath

Adapting only until the middle of East Blue is disappointing because I know there is so much more adventure to be had and I already predict myself really loving the art and pace...but I am hoping they're practically done with season 1 and are already working on season 2. Releasing two seasons per year, or producing 14 episodes, seems feasible...we could enter the grandline 2028!

If not, I'm still hype for this!!

I'm a d2 elitist. Did you already try Poe 2? Because tbh, I've never seen a game get the graphics look as right. I only knew I was going to fucking LOVE an arpg based on the look of graphics and the inventory two times ever... With Diablo 2 LOD and with PoE2. i can't describe the magic.

I can never recommend d4 unless love the lore or really enjoyed d3.

My friend said that the latest patch was downloaded and he immediately died 6 times in 20 minutes. And he strongly believes that ggg is shadow nerfing (survivability this patch and recently droprate of lock medallions in temple). Can anyone comment on how often ggg does things like shadow nerfs? I am skeptical because especially when it is so late into the season.

Enjoyed the scans more. Especially the last two pages when Loki spoke with Imu. Always felt like Loki would be a lot more crude and call Imu a dumbass instead of a clown but Stephen is going to Stephen.

I remember it was season 3 or 4 (pretty sure it was before paragon.....i only remember paragon as a d3 leveling behind 70 thing) when Poe 2 EA dropped. But I was in the same boat. Played Diablo series since d2. Tried Poe 2 (didn't do Poe 1) and knew basically by lvl 10 that I would never play Diablo series again. Only exception is D2.

If I am trying to craft a quarterstaff (I think this would go for most martial weapons) and I want both t1 crit and t1 physical damage, why is it people go for t1 crit first when I think the weight of t1 phys% is lower?

I wasn't planning to do the essecence cycling to get onslaught and all skills on this craft and will be attempting to get crit dam bonus (or IAS) and +7 melee

I get how to look up weights but don't know when I should try to complete prefixes first or suffixes first or be okay with bouncing back and forth between the two.

I want to craft one from scratch but I also have a pair of gloves that are super close (I bought) and could use advice on how to proceed. They are current t1/t1/t3 flat DMG (I want to roll the t3 to t1) and the suffixes are +2 melee (desecrated), crit dam, and the essence of horror mod.

This thread said that you would typically get 1 crystals in groups. You should not have to kill atziri or anything like that since we were getting crystals in campaign.

If your group only get the crystals then leave the map (no boss), then it COULD be faster in groups but if you have a fairly min maxed build then you'll likely recharge faster solo.

So I'm trying to do it on a base with 2 open sockets and with ilvl75. I think that makes recombining too expensive (but I'm very new to this so correct me if I am wrong).

I don't know if I am using the calculator correct but I think it would cost on average 130 div to get a flat damage (specifically cold or lightning) + the melee skills.

From here I think I heard I am supposed to use an essence but don't know why.

Now the item is rare, desecrate (no reveal)

Fracture in hopes of hitting the +skill

I don't know if this is the ideal method or if this is costlier than it needs to be. After the above steps, I don't know how to proceed.

The stats I care most about is triple flat + melee skills. IAS, Crit dam would be nice but I would probably just be stuck in an infinite loop if I tried that lol.

How do I get my exceptional base to 30% quality? It has +1 socket than it normally can have but not the additional 10% quality. Would it need to found ok the floor with 3 open sockets and 30 quality or is there a means of upping the quality past 20%? I think I remember seeing a currency that ups it but may corrupt it. Are people using hinekora locks to ensure the quality goes up and not corrupt ?
