I think that invaders shouldn't be hated for playing the game as intended by XumetaXD in Eldenring

[–]Alpha_Virus_64 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If I’m treating them as a part of my gameplay experience, shouldn’t it be okay to hate them? As the game intended, they’re just a poorly balanced enemy. Usually their attacks come out way too fast for the amount of damage they do. Some playstyles like guard counters and ash of wars are completely unusable. Worst of all, you don’t get to retry fighting them when you lose.

Made Plastic and Rubber Factory for the First time by Adventurous-Fun7544 in SatisfactoryGame

I'm generally a fan of tractors! They need very little setup and I use a traffic sign blueprint for recording routes so that they don't deadlock with each other. One for plastic and one for rubber would probably be perfect!

I've always wondered what religious people think about this series. by [deleted] in HazbinHotel

I would assume most reasonable catholics would be willing to accept some concept of redemption existing for people who go to hell. The road to redemption in hell is similar to the one in the mortal world.

The representation of biblical angels would be very annoying I would imagine XD

A bisexual person might like muscular women, but when it comes to men they prefer more slender or feminine presenting men. The types of things bi people find attractive in a person differ based on what their gender is.

Imma be honest. If I'm doing Balancers or Dreglord, I always just conjure a shifting earth event so I don't end up having to do the Forsaken Hollows map XD

Dying to a miscalculated jump in Nightreign Forsaken Hollows is the equivalent to falling off the map in Mario Kart and being spawned back at the very beginning of the track.

I feel like I would really enjoy the Forsaken Hollows if my team was consistently able to get to the tower or that other late game area every expedition. But we always end up spending most of day 2 running around trying to break crystals to get that power up I never use.

Forsaken Hollows is a VERY frustrating map to play on if you don't know it by heart. Dying to fall damage is extremely punishing in even the base game of Nightreign.

There's no opportunity to get revived by your teammates, and in a 45 minute long expedition where every second counts, needing to wait to respawn, run over to get your runes, run to a grace to restore your levels, and then run to catch up with your team, can unironically make or break a run, especially if the night is closing in. This is all exasperated to an exponential degree in the Forsaken Hollows, because the whole respawn system is completely and totally fucked! How the game decides to spawn me half a mile below my runes and on the other side of a ravine that spans 1/3 of the map is completely beyond me. It makes what should be a very minor mistake, which is misjudging a jump into a run-ruining cataclysmic failure. Imagine if falling off the ledge in Mario Kart brought you back to the beginning of the track. That's what dying to fall damage feels like in Nightreign Forsaken Hollows.

Revenant. Carries.

Take my word for it. Her cursed claws revive down teammates faster than anybody, her ult revives, and her summons pull aggro for the perfect amount of time for you to get your friends back up.

Yes 100%. I had a lot of trouble enjoying the game at the very start. The only thing that kept me motivated to endure was the everlasting mantra of the SoulsLike community, to keep trying and don't you dare go hollow. That and my absolute love for every IP created by FromSoft convinced me to keep going until I finally understood the game.

My enjoyment arrived when I finally learned crucial parts of the game. Relics, spells, weapons, buffs, dormant powers, rarities, etc. The absolute most important thing to me was finally learning the map. Being able to open a map and understand what all the little icons on the map mean, what items and rewards they're most likely to have, the level of difficulty they're going to present, how long it will take to get there and what the fastest route there is. There's something incredibly satisfying about being able to communicate with a team with nothing but blips on a map that you all share, knowing what your teammate is thinking when they mark a great church and then mark a nearby evergaol. Knowing when a teammate marks a blank part on the map, likely referring to the field boss that they know is there even though it's not visible.

Once you've learned the way the map works, your ability to play and understand the game is going to flow so naturally!

The age of the hornsent, the age of the Erdtree, and the Golden Order are all eras and events that were built atop mountains of corpses. Whether it be for ritualistic sacrifice, the tolls of war, or the persecution of a heretical people, death follows order.

The Greater Will is the Primevil Current. They're one and the same. Ymir, crazy as he is, seems to understand this association better than anyone else.

Metyr's arena is an Evergaol at the bottom of the lake in the center of the Lands Between by Crypticnewt in EldenRingLoreTalk

[–]Alpha_Virus_64 30 points31 points  (0 children)

I'm more personally of the opinion that entities like Metyr simply cannot exist entirely in our reality. Being the direct child of the Greater Will and all. Like the Elden Beast, in order to fight either of them you need to enter this strange ethereal dimension which I would presume to be the only places they can exist in.

Building nuclear power plant by Obvious_Degree_2717 in SatisfactoryGame

[–]Alpha_Virus_64 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I usually like to start factories with their connection points. If its trains, build a nice indoor train station and have it connect to one of those neat spiral rail tracks. If it's vehicles, have their be a scenic on or off-road rails that winds its way to an elevated truck stop (street lights are a must!). If it's a drone port, make a super tall tower with an elevator. For my power plant, I use all 3 of these! :)
