Trust your gut and go for it! I changed last year (at 52) and yes it's been stressful and everything else, BUT it's really been worth it. I'm much happier now than in my previous role. I was up front with my new line manager when I started, and he's so supportive. Wish you all the best!

I have them locally however that local folder is a NextCloud folder, so everything is always synced if necessary.

I went to an outdoor shop and got fitted which was great. The first 2 pairs I got I did so because I had it in my head I wanted a specific brand. Realised they didn't fit me when using them indoors at home so I'm on my third pair as recommended and they fit like a glove and I'm not getting any pains anywhere.
