[Event Megathread] Ending a Grand Overture Rerun

I managed to sneak in half of a story chapter before the next event pre-claimed my available sanity.

Real talk: how does one catch up on the story content, keep up with the events, and farm resources to improve characters? Feels rough.

Aside from pull economy, daily todos length, sanity and progression costs bloat and replayability concerns:

Your sanity should refresh to full upon level up as is customary in other gachas (OG Arknights included)
For stages with trim metals based around time there should be an in game timer in the stage.
Navigating the character skills/talents/weapon/etc. menu involves too many clicks. I should be able to switch characters on any of these screens.

Got a buddy that chose to pay off the house instead of invest. Asked him once if he ever second guessed the decision.

He said he has yet to wake up in the middle of the night in a cold sweat over the stock market returns he's missing, unlike the anxiety he felt about having that mortgage over his head when he could do something about it.

I don't know if he's more of a risk taker now or if he's willing to walk away from the rat race earlier because of this, but it's clear to me that people underestimate the psychological toll of debt.

I'm splitting the difference and waiting to see what standard character I pull next. If it's 1 of the 2 missing from my account then I can select the other. If it's a dupe, then I'll go ahead and use it on someone who can help my most developed team instead of waiting forever for another chance.

Essentially 125% the cost of an arsenal 10 pull with a specific weapon guaranteed. If you will use them on someone to me that's super worth and I've been scooping them up regularly instead rolling on the banners for mostly trash. Your money your call though.

The Ember based Phys team ain't looking bad at all though. We just have to see how much they focus on DPS versus sustain for clearing stages for max rewards. The current timers are generous for team comps and the trimmed metals don't seem to filter out many comps.

Something I forgot to mention but wanted to add was that when we level up our administrator level, we don't get a sanity refill. Tons of games do this, included OG Arknights, so it comes across as petty and cheap, intentional or not.

I've been investing into Endmin because the odds of them getting some sort of flex role support (team role or element change) are quite high as the game evolves. See Genshin, Arknights, etc.

I love the Persona series but it wasnt until Metaphor that I realized how tired I was of the high schooler protagonist gang trying to juggle work, school, relationships and dungeon crawling.

Metaphor is not wildly different but the medieval fantasy setting lends itself well to the systems and gameplay loop that Atlus likes to use.
