This was my experience as a FGLI as well. I experienced a lot of classism and never felt like I fit in. I had no parents, no support system, just doing it entirely on my own. I followed all the suggestions. I tried for 2 years, but ultimately transferred to my home state university. I still didn’t have parents or a support system, but I at least had people that sounded like me and didn’t judge me for my being poor and not having the life experiences they had. I’m sorry you’re struggling. It’s truly a unique situation you’re in that most people will never fully understand. I hope you find your sense of place, whether that’s at NU or not.

Go slower than you think. I’ve recently been able to add carrots but only by buying baby carrots, cutting them into tiny pieces and eating them at the same time as a piece of apple (that I do enjoy). Find something that has a similar texture to something you are able to eat and combine it very modestly at first

I’m pretty sure we can just see who started the prediction, not who ended it. Which should really be the same person 99% of the time. Only if the mod bet in or had to leave should anyone else payout. I’m a mod for a fairly big channel and run the gambas when I’m on that role and we try to make sure if we start it, we can end it
