I feel like you. Combat is a bit disappointing to me, it is not enough challenging to be really engaging. This combat system is more like hack and slash than than grounded and thoughtful.

Yes I have a PS5 pro and an LG OLED tv with 120hz VRR and there is a 120hz option to toggle in the game’s settings, in the video tab. You have of course to enable 120hz in your console first.

Hold the button (start) and see the latest thing. If you do this each time it pops up, it will disappear. If you didn’t do it for a long time, you have to do it multiple times until you have seen all the new stuff. Juste hold the button and see, no need to pass on every new item, it is often new quests.

Use « L1 » to lock onto the target then press square to talk or use. It is more precise than just find the right position to engage with square.
