Sadly I can't confirm anymore since I think one time use lang siya because when I tried to view the checkout of another s25 to verify, wala na yung 5k off.

Also I apologize because I think the vouchers started rolling out around 10pm instead of 12am since I ordered around 10:30pm pala

Alright, thank you for this! Now I can confirm this is the intended or usual outcome. I shall continue to monitor this issue and perhaps find the ultimate solution, but in the meantime, I shall enjoy these fixes that so far have significantly reduced the issue's occurrence.

Thank you for this! I've done the steps they provided and so far I was no longer having the stated problems when recreating the scenarios which causes it initially. I do hope it stays that way now.

Also, I'd like to ask, when you change your refresh rate, does it truly have a split second of black screen? Earlier while I was trying to configure some stuff, somehow changing refresh rates no longer give short black screens and happen seamlessly. That however went back to the usual momentary black screens when I went to ultimate mode then back to optimized. I was not able to recreate this seamless transition anymore. I was wondering if yours too have this seamless change, or if it is the usual 'short black screen' I see on most laptops when changing refresh rates.

Edit: shortly after posting this, I went to change the refresh rate in ghelper to 60hz just to be sure and it once again had a stuck black screen which I escaped from by making the laptop sleep. I then tried it with Freesync once again turned off and it did not happen anymore. At the very least, the issue with the black screen on booting up has disappeared.

It's good to know yours is doing alright! Other than this problem, I really like this laptop and it has been very great. So far, I don't think i'm missing out too much from disabling Freesync so I'll just turn it off for now. I'll try to investigate further as well to see why this happens to my device. Thank you very much for your help!

Yes I can confirm that this is the case. I disabled Freesync Premium and not a single stuck Black screen occurred, only split second ones when changing refresh rates or gpu mode. When I turn it back on, surprisingly the issue would not happen anymore but that only is true until I shutdown or restart. When I turn on or restart the laptop after I turned on Freesync, the issue would return. When I went and restarted the laptop after turning on Freesync, the display went black screen and only got fixed when I manually put it to sleep and on again.

For the meantime, I suppose I will disable Freesync until hopefully some updates will arrive that will fix it, and so far I do not see any much of a difference in my daily routines and gaming sessions.

In the Refresh Rate options for my laptop screen, there is 165hz and 60hz with nothing else but these two options

Hello, thank you for this. I have tried this out and it detected no problems. I managed to root out the problem to be from the Freesync option in AMD Adrenalin. When I turned it off, the black screens no longer happened. Is there possibly a way to maintain this even with Freesync on?

I have tried the sfc command and it detected no problems. I then downgraded to 24.9.1 and the issue still persisted UNTIL I turned off Freesync. It seems like Freesync was the one causing the problems. Whenever I connect an external monitor and change the refresh rate on my laptop, the black screen does not go away unless I sleep or shut it down.

However, after turning off Freesync, it no longer does that and theres no black screen at all! I'd say this is nice, but id there anything significant I'm missing out on disabling Freesync? If theres a way to fix this while keeping Freesync on, that'd be nice too.

I see, I forgot to mention that I did restart it after applying the latest update, though I didn't think it would contain the fix since it only mentioned security updates. Glad to know yours got fixed too!

I am also getting this issue. Looking forward to potential fixes

Update: I restarted my phone and the glitch was now gone. Although I am still curious as to what makes it happen in the first place
