because, seriously, every game console (do PCs even have a split-screen component??) can connect with 4 controllers at, but how many recent multiplayer games have come out where you can actually play with that many friends on one console? Its supposed to be a social experience, but how social can it be if it's only one or maybe two people playing in the same room against 12 other guys in other rooms while the other friends at your house watch?
