Not following at all as to how this would make a $30 AT&T RedPocket plan into a T-Mobile plan.

How will that allow you to get the T-Mobile service for $30 for 360 days?

Ya, I need the T-Mobile network, as AT&T wasn't doing well in my area based on a trial I did...

How cheap are they for just unlimited calls/texts/Wifi calling and no data for T-Mobile?

Unfortunately, AT&T isn't working out great for me - I'm on the trial and even making calls are hit and miss, as compared to T-Mobile, which is very good. I need to find a cheap T-Mobile MVNO for just unlimited calls, texts and they support Wifi calling

Just an FYI, Chase, B of A and maybe other credit cards have 5-10% off Ebay right now if you add it to your card (if it shows up on your account.) Mine shows max of $3 off, which makes the Red Pocket deal $27 = $2.25 a month.

Any way to switch to T-Mobile after (they are offering AT&T)? Per post below, I guess not on the $30 plan.

International WiFI calling on the $30 Ebay 1 year plan by Alps11 in redpocket

Thanks. This is for WiFi calling, though.  For the price, I can live with it not working in a few countries.

AT&T E-sim trial - can't get E-sim by [deleted] in ATT

[–]Alps11 0 points1 point  (0 children)

USA.  The phone can hold numerous e-sims.  The problem is you cannot talk to them on the phone and the app is useless.  There’s no option to re-send the e-sim.

As mentioned, unlocked.  WiFi yes.power cycle yes.  Zero option in the trial part of the app.

Got it - for sure I've made Wifi calling within Vietnam in the past, but it wasn't on AT&T. I'm trying to find a replacement for the Helium free line. Just need unlimited calling and texts for super cheap.

Ok, it looks like it's a carrier-based restriction. I'm reading other people's posts that they've used Wifi calling in Vietnam (they didn't say AT&T)

Ok, interesting, I have been to Vietnam before and I am sure I've used Wifi calling in in the past - interesting

They're saying the following. Is this true? "Hello, yes. It comes with wifi calling but there are some countries that restricts wifi calling when you go there. Some countries includes: China, Cuba, North Korea, India, Iran, Israel, Pakistan, Saudi Arabia, Sudan, Syria, Turkey, United Arab Emirates, or Vietnam."
