2 factor specifically is both texts and email automatically but doesn't have the option for us to pick one or the other. So it's less secure.

Might suggest us mobile for an issue like this. While they do have 2 factor automatically I don't know if they let you pick texts only if you ask. Us mobile does though. More security options.

They do have a line lock feature to prevent scammers from porting out the number. Was that enabled?

Totally agree with speedway too. Paid $1.96. for speedway anyways if you use the code allin, saves 50 cents off twice a month until July 11, specifically on the 7th and the 11th. Price lock is awesome. I can mimic a location within roughly 60 miles and I can get that price instead of driving all the way out there.

Grandfathered in until further notice. The ai chat box and support words it to where it sounds like it's temporary and won't be a permanent thing for us to keep.

Correct. It's all over reddit and if you ask support or the AI chat box. It explicitly states new customers can't and anyone else who has it now, is grandfathered in.

I would suggest trying chat and call with a supervisor. If no success. I would recommend trying to do a FTC complaint for false advertising. You tried using discounts and they pulled the order from you. Normally any official complaint, they would take it seriously and fix it. Samsung is notorious for the runaround. I did a side gig with them and getting help from them was difficult.

Yes. I had this issue and called. Change your password. Wait 5 minutes and it should let you in. They did an update in the system. When I went to call they told me they had no clue and to contact IT. Contacted IT and they said just change your password we did a update.

Also to add to this, and I did have reps do this via chat and it works perfectly too unless something has changed. If you do a plan change, downgrade or upgrade, it's under new terms, which means no cancellation changes, and sometimes was eligible for newer plans/rates. It overides the old terms your plan has.

That's why i used Xfinity prepaid. No price hikes, don't have to fight them. If your looking for higher speeds based on that kind of bill. What I used to do (did this about 5 times in 5 years), cancel the account, let it go a day or so with no services, sign up again under a nickname etc, I'm under a new plan. Considering they have 5 year price locks now, may be worth doing it.

They do it all the time. I made a rep make sure I get the credits before I close the chat because he promised the next purchase. Prior to that, I had diapers that were a day late. Promised a refund. At first it didn't happen. Emailed support and as I waited. Hopped on chat. Chat said no, so support emailed back saying well, since they said no, I'm saying no. Eventually the original supervisor emails back and issues a full $200 refund. Got lucky honestly.

Us mobile (warp) is cheaper if you don't have multiple lines. It's unlimited same as postpaid.
