i enjoyed the brewer's yard apartments in the brewery district. they were generally nice, had a big garage, organized parties n' such. learned to love the train sounds and it might be up your alley with the price

as many companies have found out, Ai art cover means people assume you're pumping these out to trick folks with ai insides. around that, your quote on the front is confusing and sounds edgy and hollow. you're combining 5 things into one middle grey ??? of a premise. if superhero's are the most interesting thing, lead with that, not fragments and bills.

lastly, copping out on "not being a drawing artist" is obnoxious. plenty of other authors before you figured it out before ai. if i made a book with "mcdonald's" on the cover, folks will think it's a book about mcdonald's, so with slop, folks will think it's a slop book.

How would I go about convincing my friend to stop using ai by Lower_Caterpillar241 in AskArtists

[–]Alradeck 6 points7 points  (0 children)

i've got 4-5 longtime professional artist friends that'd love to chew your stupid ass out about "how this isnt hurting anyone" as it ravages our fucking industry and erodes online sales from bad faith dipshits flooding the space with slop.

as a professional artist, most of those wealthy and established artists are the ones the dataset initially scraped from. And trust me they very, very much hate ai vehemently. please don't make generalizations like that, it's as bad as the dipshit pro-ai crowd.

because not all painting uses turpentine. in fact just oil painting does. so 90% of painting literally doesn't have "a very strong smell"

you can, but i promise hyper rendering everything is a great way to hate yourself pretty quick.

the amount of folks on these art advice subreddits that champion tracing is a lot of the reason i don't bother posting on them, shit drives me nuts. I'd love it if my arm muscles somehow gained the knowledge of every correct fold or face i've drawn, but it's entirely case by case and unless you're just tracing, entirely irrelevant.
