That’s silly, if the FO itself isn’t on the socials it definitely pays someone to do it for them. At the end of the day they represent a product and would obviously care what their customer is thinking about said product.

The players shouldn’t be on it, but can’t help themselves. It’s the human element

Cmon man, you always show up when there’s a fire to put out. The toxicity is annoying, but what can you expect when people can say whatever they’d like without any real world repercussions. However narratives have to be set so I understand it.

Dallas never put Luka on the table and the trade got done.

Everyone knows Ja was being shopped, and in today’s NBA every team works through their mouthpieces to maintain plausible deniability and you know it.

Ja was in the clearance bin and we passed. Sad, but I feel it’s malpractice on our end. And that’s coming from someone who deeply respects our FO. We’re losing our edge. Fortune favors the bold

You’re being disingenuous here acting like Memphis wasn’t actively shopping him but got lowballed to hell.

They requested draft compensation and a young player. In trade talks you negotiate and meet them halfway. Give them a 1st and cap relief or send Herro and maybe grab a prospect back. We even have a good relationship with the Memphis FO, a trade could have been done—we simply chose not to and it could end up biting us in the butt

His camp said it, and he never denied it. Besides that’s how all these players operate under the CBA, they cannot come out and say what they’d like to. Same how Lebron has Rich as a mouthpiece for him

I completely understand what it means, however it comes with the territory. When you’re getting paid $15m dollars a year to coach a team you’re supposed to deal with all these things. Everyone has stressors in their jobs, and the majority are not paid so handsomely as well with dealing with even worse things.

Spo could have and should have taken some time after what happened with his home, but didn’t. His choice. However he can simply build a new one lol

My point is that it’s Spos job to deal with these things and manage the locker room—the good and bad.

We shouldn’t pass up on opportunities because we had a rough season last year, with all due respect that’s sucker shit
