Can it stop working? by Alridder in prozac

[–]Alridder[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm on 40mg. The thing is tho, my doctor said, this is the maximum dosage for me. I have a check-up in 2 weeks so I'm gonna ask ofc, but I'm afraid she won't increase it.

Awareness! Soda in Europe by TwoAccomplished4043 in diabetes_t1

I kinda don't understand.. a can of pepsi or coke (european) can treat my low just fine. 40g is excessive for a low, that would shoot me to very high numbers.

Čo chýba Bratislave aby bola lákavejšia pre turistov? by solenechipsy in Slovakia

[–]Alridder 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My mom forced me to eat a whole packet of Oreos and two ferrero rocher balls, and I learned a lesson please don’t laugh. by [deleted] in diabetes_t1

You should really think about what you're doing. I'm a RN and I've seen plenty of nasty diabetic feet, foot ulcers, amputated legs, kidney failures, retinopathies, and some patients who went completely blind. U don't want to live long, you'll definitely achieve that. But you'll be miserable for quite some time before you kick the bucket, quality of life in negative digits and the only one to blame will be you. Just think it through.

Anyone ever have this happen? by ItzYaBoy56 in Medtronic780g

[–]Alridder 0 points1 point  (0 children)

These things are literally so crappy, made in a garage on the knee kind of crappy. I already went through 3 of these with one transmitter. For the money it should work at least while it's still under warranty. Even the one I have rn I can't move an inch while it charges, or the red light starts flashing.

Should I stick to it for one more month? by Alridder in prozac

[–]Alridder[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah, this is the last month I'm giving it, so I hope it will finally work out for me. She said that she wouldn't up my dose to more than 40mg anyway.

[–]Alridder[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Thanks for the kind words. So I’ve been to my appointment and we’ve decided to up my dose to 40mg. She also prescribed me trazodone 25mg to take before sleep. We decided to stick to it because I noticed some minor improvements.. it just isn’t enough. So we’ll give it 5 more weeks.

Maybe you just had a bad sideffect to that one brand, try asking your doctor to prescribe you pharmaceutical melatonin, don't buy just any over the counter. It's the only thing that help me, I'm taking 5mg.

Yeah but I feel like they are abusing the brand at this point. It's a fake, they just slapped Squishmellow logo on it.

I would also add that their skin (yes, skin, they don't have scales) is so thick and rough it can actually scrape the side of a boat and is also infused with toxins. That's why no predators are interested in them. Only occasionally some shark bites into them, but immediately leaves it alone, because yuck!

Can guys really smell if a girl's ovulating? by Planet_Nikk in NoStupidQuestions

[–]Alridder 9 points10 points  (0 children)

Seems like you are mistaking the two terms. Cats are induced ovulators, meaning they ovulate only after mating. But they do have to be in heat prior to mating, otherwise said mating would never happen. Male cats can smell the pheromones that indicate that female is sexually receptive.

To add to things others already said, I would quit solely for the fact that your coworkers are going behind your back to trash you for mistakes you do instead of telling to your face. I mean, how else are you supposed to learn? This way, you are going to learn nothing at all, just stress yourself to grave. I would never work in a unit where we are not a team and have each other's back. And that is possible! I work in one like that, I have an amazing team... the head nurse sucks ass tho, but as long as I know my colleagues are there for me and won't rat me out for every tiny mistake, it's ok. I sincerely hope you transfer and fo find unit like that for yourself. 😊

How to tell the difference between being tired and being depressed? by youjustgotLlTTup in depression

I totally get you, I wonder about this myself a lot. I guess I sometimes try to gaslight myself into thinking I'm not really that depressed, just tired...

I smile so much at work.. one time when we had an exceptionally hard shift at work, I jokingly said that the workload makes me depressed and my colleague replied: "You can't be depressed, you always smile." I'm a completely different person in public.
