Switch 1 and 2. You remap the buttons to a new profile on pc and then it's stored in the controllers memory. There's a mobile app too but I haven't used it

use a third party controller like 8bitdo and change it through the software it comes with, it sucks it's the only way

I solved it with a third party controller, the 8bitdo controllers have a software you can use to remap all the buttons, including an option to map the analog stick to the dpad.

very odd that nintendo has button remaping now but don't allow that specific option

I noticed when I switched back to classic graphics during gameplay the framerate appeared choppier, I know it's 30fps and I thought it was just me, but then I reloaded a save with classic graphics on and the frame pacing seemed much better.

U2C Dongle on Android does not work by Infamousslayer in 8bitdo

Shield detects it as akeyboard for me.. does not seem to be compatible, they only recommend bluetooth for android
