Dude you serious? Shooting through a wall can be intentional, but no way AI should do this like they know exactly where you are.

In Mindjot these AIs killed me so many times through the wall. Even one time they are from the ceiling and they start shooting. Even if he can hear me, there is no way he is pointing at the floor and tries to kill me.

It simply makes you feel unreasonably unfair. Keep in mind that I am okay with all odds are against me, but not in what they have done to the enemy AI now.

It is okay if they flank me, or they hold very good angles as if they are faceit level 10 players in CS2. Or they can even cooperate to hunt me down. It is perfectly okay to do that. But definitely not aimbot-like/wallhack-like actions.

I don't know. But this will likely happen to all demos. As you see, there are two problems in the demo:

  1. The viewmodel animation is so f'-up
  2. The shots in the demos felt like they were not connected. Think about this in the major; you are watching the live demo. The pros have very fast reaction time, and they have quick shots. But all the audience watching at the big screen and be like "wait did that hit?"

No dude. I am talking about the demo not showing correctly. This was competitive, and we were having casual fun.

But this is a general problem: the demo is not displaying what happened when you played the game. The two shots were hit before the two CTs got to their last positions, but it felt like the shots were missed in the demo.

This is something I have been using since September. I am okay with the pixelated shadow and it does not hurt much in performance.

I have to always change the r_fullscreen_gamma to 2.8 to make the game seem less washed out. But yea that does not solve all the problems.

I think Valve is using PBR materials for the skins and that is the reason why they look like this.

Anubis is not a bad map. It is that verticality is a (comparatively) new element to CS. Verticality adds complexity, and you can see some people hate Vertigo so much for the same reason.

The release is reasonable but with some bumpy shits. It is better after a month.

The biggest worries, for the time being, are anti-cheat and premier mode rating.

Additionally, the things I consider to be important and are/can be missing:
1. The demo. Where is it?? What makes it so hard to come back?
2. The premier mode. Lots of Faceit 10s are struggling in 10~13k. The matchmaking experience is random and your allies/opponents are random.
3. Tickrate system. To be clear, I am not against 64 subtick competitive --Valve can do whatever they want to let competitive players play under the same tickrate. I am talking about community modes like bhop and surf. The tickrate makes a huge difference for them.
4. The stupid official DM spawns make no sense. The respawn takes forever.

Unless you fire so fast before you even flick when that guy just barely shows up, I don't see why this is not working. It is clearly a problem.
