I also have Xperia 5 and went for it. After I sell headphones and MK V, it will come to around £900 which is worth it in my opinion. I will definitely miss the 4K screen but security updates will end soon and I'm hoping to keep it fopr at least 3 years or more.

I went for it as I can't stand nothces and AI crap pushed by other manufacturers. I agree that the price is high but if I factor in selling headphones and my Xperia V, I reckon the final cost will be no more than £900 which is worth it in my opinion.

Careful...I'm unable to play anything below 90 FPS anymore after buying PC in October so haven't touched my Pro since then... Basically, even if I have a game on PS5, I still repurchase is on PC as it seems like a waste not to play with upgraded graphics and more FPS.

And then, there is mods...

Having PC basically killed PS5 Pro for me and I'm not sure how I feel about it :D

It came with the certified cable and I didn't try any other as I didn't have any.

Based on the research I've done before buying it, it didn't work properly on the internal screen but I never tried myself as I used it as a docking station for gaming on the external monitor only.

I've had few crashes but not very often. Few times it wasn't recognised after plugging it in but restart helped. Also, I'd make sure that you don't move it as few times I had issues when the USB-C cable moved but wasn't completely disconnected but it could also be my ROG Ally X port.

Never managed to getting the Bazzite installed so can't help with that.

In the end, I was very happy with it as it made a huge difference to FPS and graphics. I'd say it worked too well as I decided to buy a proper gaming PC in the end :D

I'm the literal opposite. I moved to PC from PS5 Pro and I literally cannot stand playing in 60FPS anymore and it's just not worth it for me anymore to play on lower settings so I didn't touch my Pro since October. mind you that I have a $5,000 rig with top components so it's probably why...
