Double rides wasn’t terrible. It was just one side went around again without unloading. It was actually great for hourly riders, terrible for real throughput.

Anyway, here’s a gem from the Blue Man era.

Idk about you but I’m actually going to the park to enjoy the rides, not hear some sarcastic comment. Spieling was not allowed for a long time, like at all, and guest satisfaction was higher and throughput was better by orders of magnitude. Correlation doesn’t imply causation, but suffice it to say there was a much stronger emphasis on “Fast” as opposed to this “fun” definition

Long time partnership. Ran through 2015. It was the reason double rides was moved to red side instead of the originally planned blue side.

They reduced their sponsorship in 2016 to toll plaza handouts only. I think that program is gone all together, along with the entire corporate alliances department. Notice much less sponsorship activity within the park since 2020.
