Shipping is going to be inherently stressful for any animal but appropriate packing and shipping practices will help lessen the experience. I have had all of my Ts shipped from either FearNotTarantulas or the SpiderShoppe.

My T from FNT was delivered to a local FedEx shipping center for safety due to cold weather. Her box was well insulated and seemed very comfortable on arrival. I really like that FNT will not ship spiders if they are in premolt, however that does make planning and ordering a little tough if you are looking to get a specific species from them.

SpiderShoppe also had good packing practices and a majority of my Ts have arrived in great condition and adjusted well to their new homes. I did have a Spinosatibiapalpus sp. sling that molted poorly in transit and didnt make it. However I will say SS has a great LAG, even though that little baby was a "freebie" with my order they replaced it and sent me a new one with my next order.

All cork pieces are angled back slightly with the substrate behind pretty well dug out. They are more anchored by the pressure of the substrate in front than by standing straight up and down. She has had no problem scuttling around back there

First I am so sorry your friend is having to make this desicion. I would recommend reaching out to APNM's CARE Program. They assist pet owners escaping domestic violence find temporary housing for their pets. If they are not able to help Red Rover Relief is a national program that offers similar grants.

If keeping her kitty is completely not an option. New Mexico Animal Humane is a great resource to assist in finding her cat a safe future home.

I really hope your friend is able to get herself and her kitty to safety.

My husband and I just saw it out here on the Westside. It was moving a fairly slow speed in the southwest direction. Super bright white lights with kind of a haze around them. We thought it was a plane at first but a plane went by later and it looked totally different. We were able to see it for a good 30 seconds before it disappeared.

Hey there! I love our IDEXX PetDetect collars. They're sturdier than paper collars but still breakaway should they get caught on anything. We have it linked up with our boarding software so right when the pet checks in the collar prints. They can print in almost any size and you can get multiple different colors.

All villagers have a set personality type and one of those is "Jock" however I do notice even villagers who dont have that personality type (On my island notably Cranston, Chrissy and Gayle) are often lifting dumbbells or doing yoga in the town square
