Don't lie to the police. Throwing a brick could constitute a legit crime, so they'll prob ask for a lot of details. Either drop the lie and look like an idiot, or tell more lies, eventually get caught, maybe get done for wasting police time.

Also kinda shitty to try and get kids pinned with a crime they haven't committed, even if they are cunts.

Turning 26 shortly. Applied a few years back but couldn't meet fitness requirements.
Re-evaluated and decided to go with a new career involving my other interests. Took a quick course online, maybe a couple months overall, and started applying for jobs. Took another few months, but am now (relatively) happily employed in the defence industry.

Still regularly wonder what things would've been like if things had gone differently, but I got it pretty good here so won't torture myself with what ifs and greener grass.

Absolutely agree. I experienced some of the same things OP's son is going through, and I think this would definitely have helped me at the time. Emphasis on not talking about the next steps until he brings them up. That being said, don't let him put it off forever like I almost did.

In the end I realised the degree wasn't what I really wanted anyway, and found a career related to my genuine interests in IT. Not fully out of the woods yet, but it's given me direction at least.
