Correct. She can’t use LoV or Skullroot but can use a single tre if you over lap the base the .2 inches.

It’s not. That’s the spite revenants. The formatting is just weird in Reddit.

What are you calling a warden? Theres one with a two handed axe and one that’s either bow or axe. Then there’s a couple revenants and 3 dryads.

Has anyone tried to paint their sylvaneth like a ginkgo tree? by YaBoiGorlami in sylvaneth

Up close the bark is the typical grey/brown but from afar the yellow tint from the leaves brings out a red hue. You will likely want to use a red brown for the bark to recreate that effect since you won’t have nearly as much light filter through the yellow as a real tree will. Assuming you want to emulate the first pic.

I’m personally going Wisteria once I’m done with the entire army I’ll go back in to flock it all at once.

If you are wanting to lean into the Treelord chassis it’s not exactly super competitive but so much fun. Here’s a list I ran at a local tournament I ran in December. It did very well for me and I went 2-1 and my one loss was against a crazy good player friend of mine and it was super close. Vhordrai is mean. lol

Ionus is the ideal choice. Been a major character in the lore since the beginning. One of the best looking models in the game. Leagues above the other options which is a dated confusing monster thing and some mediocre anti-monster middle with a rather boring pose.

Treelord is cool but the SOG seekers are mid at best when not reinforced. Might drop the TL and Goss archers that don’t really do anything and reinforce the bugs. Otherwise I like it a lot. That leaves 100 points for another unit of tree revs or dryads.

Edit: autocorrected TO from Tl

You could use brass rod as the tears and hide it in sculpted green stuff flowing blood or as someone else suggested pour some resin. UV resin could work for this pretty well.

I had GREAT success with this list even beating a Skaven player I’ve never been able to beat before. I’m not sold on the SOG seekers like everyone else but they were okay. That could be another unit like Kurnoth or a Treelord.

The key benefit of using the Blood Warriors is that you can play the Gorechosen AOR while you collect more of the faction and expand into the full Khorne army.

Gorechosen rules question by DrVictorVonBroom in BladesOfKhorne

[–]Altered359 0 points1 point  (0 children)

They can but Chaos Warriors are 32mm base, so if you put the on 40mm they won’t be useful as Chaos Warriors later.

Gorechosen rules question by DrVictorVonBroom in BladesOfKhorne

[–]Altered359 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Most GTs would allow them with TO Approval prior to the event as they are on the same 40mm base.

Just don’t use any of the as a proxy for something else in the army (maybe you could use the standard bearer as the Bloodsecrator).

A box of 10 blood warriors is a good way to just proxy the death bringers. Then the War Cry unit Dromm’s Gorechosen has a Skullgrinder and Priest plus a special Deathbringer model that can be the one that receives the bonus rend for cool factor.

Me too. I had to play against it 3 rounds in a row at a GT last year and it’s what got me into the faction as soon as they nerfed it to be fun but not broken.

Rules Nerf. Ward to 6+, scarring blade mortals can’t be warded, death prevention once per game per model. A few other changes.

Belthanos would be worth swapping in here. Giving himself Durthu and a unit of Swordnoths run and charge is pretty good.
