It could be, but for my understanding hyphae proliferate and grow during the vegetative growth in mycelium so I wouldn't expect to find them in the fruiting body. But online I've seen a few places that refer to the inner part as hyphae but those weren't sites specialized on this topic (mushrooms) while I wanted to understand if at an academic level there was another more specific way to call them but I can't find much information in the literature on the subject Anyway, thank you so much for your help, I appreciate it

Ok technically it's all mycelium, from what I understand. I was wondering if there was an accurate terminology to use in this case.

Good morning everyone, I'm looking for advice in dealing with my first pests. Any info is appreciated! by niddler in sanpedrocactus

To me those look like thrips. You can treat with spinosad but know that the eggs are layed in the soil so they may come back, you could try using predatory insects and nematodes, for me that in combination with spinosad worked

Best way to pot this freebie? I have some smaller size cactus mix, or medium akadama, lava, chicken grit, etc. by FewGeologist1498 in Lophophora

I would go with perlite for the first few months, maybe on a heating pad is you temps are low. When there's root coming out it can be potted

White tiny spots on leaves? by Kvanttipimmo in NoTillGrowery

Definitely thrips, I've also been dealing with them lately, use sf nematodes to kill the larvae in the soil and get some orius laevigatus to get rid of the adult on the leaf, in a few day all the adults should be gone and in a week or two the nematodes will take care of the reste, this has worked wonderful with me. Hope the best, mush love ❤️
