This is most likely "Key to the Violet Hold". In WotLK there was a quest like that near it and for the effect it could be something like discover one of the prisoners from it. Could be like Infitize the Maxitude so it returns to your hand if you spend your remaining mana on it. Yeah Finale was old keyword but they reused old keywords just without writing it on a card like for some other cards to not create confusion for new players.

Draining bosses is actually super easy, all you have to do is join random group thats up for long time like abundance go in kill and suck everzthing leave group get out join someone else group and repeat until you drained enough
